Sounds good, at the same time for those who go by yearly maintenance instead of kilometres, they may get maximum of two-three services.
Anyway have to wait till the fine print is out.

EDIT: Looks like it is either two years or 20,000kms, whichever is early.

Toyota Urban Cruiser launch on September 23, 2020

Toyota has announced that it will launch the Urban Cruiser suv-4 meter SUV on September 23, 2020.



Toyota had started accepting bookings for the Urban Cruiser on August 22. The carmaker is offering free 2-year maintenance for customers who pre-book the car.

The Urban Cruiser is a re-badged Maruti Vitara Brezza. It is expected to be offered in three variants - Mid, High and Premium. The crossover will come equipped with 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, auto-dimming IRVM, rain sensing wipers, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as cruise control. LED projector headlamps will be standard across all variants.

The Urban Cruiser will be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine. This unit produces 104 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. All three variants will be offered with a choice of a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. Automatic variants will get a lithium-ion battery with an integrated starter generator (ISG).

There are some parts that are not from Suzuki! The 4 speed torque converter automatic transmission is from Aisin, which is 51% owned by Toyota.

Prices are just about as good as the Brezza. Maybe they are trying to offset the maintenance cost I guess through the respect package.
