Surprisingly, people are queuing outside Toyota showrooms in Egypt, and the Belta is receiving good bookings.

Toyota cars are known for reliability and long time ownerships. If Toyota export these abroad means MS made cars are super reliable.

. I'm happy about Ciaz, VB and Baleno taken up by Toyota and I'm looking forward to own a Belta for a change. Let's see.

More spacious sedan than the Yaris at 70% of the price of a Yaris hatchback in Egypt.

Should sound good value.

Also to add that it has a very comfortable ride quality and is proven to be extremely reliable.

Are you willing to bet that the Toyota Belta will not do much better in sales volume than the Yaris? I am pretty sure it will beat the Yaris sales by a long mile.

These moves of rebranding Suzuki cars should be seen in the right perspective. Toyota with the Urban Cruiser, the Glanza/Starlet, the Ertiga/Rumion and the Ciaz/Belta is getting a foot into segment that were previously slightly better than no-shows. it can only go up from here. I predict that in a generation or two depending on how the pact is signed they can bring their own offering into these segments.

Definitely should beat Yaris sales. Yaris never got off the ground, and after owning it for 3 months, don't know why except for price. Price became the dominant factor and everything else got overshadowed.

Anyway, as to me, when I purchased my car in sep 21, belta was on the horizon. And ciaz was in showrooms. Knowing this, I opted for a used Yaris
