Ridiculous price

If they are going to price higher than Pajero, then it is out of my consideration. I wonder what kind of ridiculous market studies (price elasticity studies) these guys do. However, I am hoping that this is DDM (desi dork media) at work - especially given the global prices of Outlander.

BTW i think you interchanged the sales of CRV and captiva
refer to the sales thread

but even them GM deserves the credit for having such sales in 18-24 lac segment

May be first they should bring the outdated pajero at 8 to 10 Lakhs price and then get Outlander at around 15 to 16 Lacs. And Montero at 25 - 30 Lacs.

Here is the latest article on the Outlander. Umpteenth one..

The Outlander arrives- Auto-Specials-The Economic Times

But I feel this is more of a media campaign before they kickstart the media launch otherwise this article has nothing new about the SUV and not even the launch date. With Scorpio AT, outlander will have a tough fight being petrol.

And here is a totally offtrack article on pricing.
AutoIndia.com - Hindustan Motors to launch Outlander SUV soon

) Couldn't agree more. Outlander at price range of Scorpio doesn't stand a chance being a petrol. That too Scorpio now has an auto..

At this price it would be a killer with these specs, but the rumor is it could even as high as 30L (in which case it would a damp thing) - the pricing will be key ultimately.

Great specs Mitsu.. For the first time there is no compromise on specs for any model for India. In an auto show injaipur Mitsu sales guy confirmed that the launch in Delhi is on 3rd Oct, and the price will be around 20 Lacs. They are going to keep both cars in same price segment. He said that the CBU cost was coming at around 28 Lacs therefore the company decided on CKD and now have got the price at 20L ex showroom.

Also the regular stuff like he has seen the car in training and the car is stunning with never seen before features and that they have already done 5 bookings and so no. It sounds good though..

Hi guys just tried it and it worked, no direct link on main page yet

Mitsubishi

If they price it head on with CRV or slightly less, then it would be interesting.
