Fiat shd realise that the diesel will outsell petrol 4:1. Else, it will be a long waiting period for the diesel.

Fiat probably knows that already. Every second car sold runs with a Fiat derived diesel engine these days (MJD/Quadrajet/DDiS).

They should probably realized that there would be more demand for the Emotion Plus model more if they price is sensibly.

IMO that should not be a problem as they have the capacity to produce 300000 engines annually at Ranjangaon plant.

But again the wait for launch is extended because of Jazz launch. I am eagerly waiting for 17th now. I hope dealerships start displaying Punto as soon as it arrives. Just like Honda is doing.

Actually!
Little OT here but I remember, when Xylo was about to launch, the mahindra website was almost updated every alternate day. I wonder why FIAT is so quite about it.

On the same thread I saw people commenting that fiat website is updated with something like "watch this place in june". But I couldn't any thing like that on Fiat India.

Its a small java banner saying "Watch this space in June" and also "The car you've been waiting for" with Punto logo.

I really started feeling like a dumb now, but still can't find it. This is the page what I see,
Fiat Grande Punto. EDIT : Launch on 17th June!-fiat_snapshot.jpg

Or is the white box under "Model Range" supposed to show that?

Wildon, if these are the ex-showroom prices, then Punto is a clear winner.

Good to see FIAT improving their dealer network and A.S.S.
Come on FIAT, WAKE UP. "watch this space in June" still appears on fiat-india site . Put those teasers.
