For Hyderbad the increase in the LX price is a mere Rs 3513. The price of LX 3.0 Dicor till yesterday was Rs 7,26,487 and the new LX2.2VVT dicor is only Rs 7,30,000. WOW!!

I just got off the phone from the dealer and found that they have been told that not to offer any discounts on 2.2 of any trims and their would be waiting period on new colors , so........ need to think a lot before signing the papers.

I love the new safaris' colours - and the new grille and spare wheel cover is gelling with the overall new look.

Why is Safari making such a big fuss on the '' Bring me home Lights '' ? LOL

15 secs is what they claim. let some good mag test it and see. im pretty sure theyll find it 1 or 2 secs slower than what tata claim. and that isnt a rubber burner by any standards. the scorpio and innova are about as quick.
FYI the Innova & the Scorpio both are slower then 15secs, much much slower. the Safari is 140bhp, may weigh more but the Innova is just 102bhp from a 2.5L, so Tata has a better engine in the Safari then Toyota could manage

But atleast Mahindra will bring the game to Deuce. I am all for seeing us Indians driving the outsiders where they came from.

BUSA bro, engine is not only about power. The Innova engine is better engineered though under powered comparitively. In any case, you cant compare the refinement of Toyota with a Tata, as OYO makes a lot of difference....

For that matter, even 3.0L engine had better figures on the paper than Innova. But, what really makes the difference while out on the road, is the power to weight ratio, where safari might loose the battle.
