Decent job there! The interiors look much better than any of the pervious TATA vehicles!
Good job guys.. Its a treat to have reports/pics/scoops on T-BHP the minute something's spotted/launched!

Yes this is a quantum leap for the tata sumo. The pricing also seems to target and take on the lower end scorpio

body looks awesome. But Interiors looks OK to me. Also the tyres may have to be upsized by looking at the above pics.

The car looks quite good to me, except the rear! The rear vew reminds me of the "hotpoint' Fridge that was at my grandad's place years ago!!!

Front has got an aggressive look while back reminds me of a scion Xb,while lights could have been more agressive.interiors are ok but expected as for a sumo.nice to see that alpine music system also,is it an offer along with car??

The old Sumo and new Sumo are to co-exist in the market.

Going by the TV interviews, it seemed that Tata want to position the new Sumo as a family car with the looks/space of a SUV, refinement/ performance of a car and the specific mention of the small turning radius for City driving. Looks like they are targetting the Innova and the yet to be launched Ingenio

It seems probable that they will not want the cabbies to buy the new Sumo at this point of tim. They should continue to buy the old Sumo.

It seems quite a few BPO Sumo/ Indica's in Bangalore are being replaced by the Tata Winger

Uhuh... this Sumo is not meant for those call center runs thats for sure. Its not cabby material. Not with those electrically operated mirrors, leather wrapped steering and gear knob, Alpine HU and analog clock. haa haa haaaa... It will be too much of an overkill for the cabbies.

love that analogue clock on the dash, looks great, it should have had a backlight display though, that would have been great.

cant see the cabbies going in for all these goodies.
