Shell Regular Petrol is Available in Banglore only. Not in chennai.

In chennai, Shell Super (Premium) petrol (Rs.52.95/- Per Litre)is cheaper than Other Oil Cos., Premium Petrol.

On the contrary, its the reverse. I just got a news flash from NDTV on my mobile, that the prices may increase to offset the demands of the striking officers and the losses suffered in the past three days.

I don't think thats gonna happen. Oil minister has proposed a drop of Rs 5, 3 and 25 for petrol, diesel and LPG respectively.

Heard from few of my friends that the long queues have eased up now on all SHELL Outlets.

Like someone has said, just fill up some fuel for next one week and wait for the prices to drop.

Seriously, I'am tanking up only Rs.1000 whenever I go to petrol bunk nowadays. Eagerly waiting for price cut. The sooner they do the better.

Thanks heaven the strike is over. The streets looked so scary so empty, now we don't have habit to drive cars on empty streets.

. But the main issue is Govt is considering another reduction in near future. Hope shell will also follow the same. Otheerwise it will be back to square one.

No shortage: came back empty handed from 2 petrol pumps in East Delhi at 5PM today.
Price cut: 2 weeks again. My car's tank does not have fuel for that long.

According to the news in NDTV, and the press statement by Murali Deora (Petroleum Minister), the price cut should happen by next week. It will be Rs.5 for petrol, Rs.3 for diesel and Rs.25 for LPG.

In bangalore, it is returning to normalcy although few petrol bunks are selling only premium petrol. But IOC and IBP bunks are still closed (atleast near my house).
