Totally with you.Comparing logan and indigo is a waste of time.Logan far better than indigo espcially the engine is really good.

The Logan had serious price reductions on the petrol variants. For once, I think the petrols may be the equal of the diesel.

With the budget, the Finance Minister has made Mahindra's job of making Logan a success a little bit tougher. The Indigo CS now attracts 12 % excise. The resulting price cut will widen the diffenence in the price of the Logan ans the Indigo CS. The Cab operators and the low end sedan buyers may desert the Logan in favour of the CS which IMHO looks better than the regular Indigo

Mahindra-Renault look to be desperate to show some increase in numbers. How else does one explain a comparison with dissimilar models like the City.

May be they should try to compare their numbers with the likes of a Camry or Accord. Things can be shown to be much more positive than what they are now.

The figures have been taken from an article and not a press release by Mahindra.

I do know, but then why raise this question when it comes to Logan?

The thread was about Logan being a flop. Figures show its doing quite well. And now if you question the figures only.. then what can I say!

Mods: The 30k price cut was a limited time period offer, which is over now.
