The new Sedan has a centrally located speedometer console.
It shares the same platform with the SUV/MUV. I saw 3 of these and 2 of the SUV/MUVs.

Have uploaded the videos on my blog : BHP - More is never enough!

U may have to load VLC player (go to Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com and load it)

Also, u will have to slower the playing speed. There is some issue with the files

No bunny, the sedan doesn't share a platform with the crossover, it shares its platform with with the indica hatch.
The crossover platform is entirely different and new.

^ swale : im aware the sedan, indigo, shares its platform with the indica.
I m referring to the new bigger sedan being tested by Tata, the one which is around 20% bigger than the Indigo.

Bunny, i'm also referring to the new sedan. It shares its platform with the new indica, the one that was shown at the auto expo in january. It is only marginally longer.

The new Indigo on the new Indica looks more balanced. This time, it seems they designed the sedan first to avoid that boot-stuck-on look that the current Indigo displays.

The result, the hatch looks like it got its tail cut. The C-pillar on the hatch always looked like it was meant for a sedan.

its the new version of indigo made to comply with european pedestrians safety norms. it has a lowered bumpers and a big contoured head lamps which give a very nice looks. also the interior is larger. the engine will also be an upgraded one which delivers more HP than the earlier. it will be DICOR.
it can also share the FIAT engine. still not finalized on the versions.

Guess the styling plays its part in that. Anyway, the car will be showcased at the Geneva Auto show in March.

All your questions can be answered after that ;-)

Yes, the car has been designed to meet with all European norms, pedestrian safety included.

Amit, there will be no Tata DICOR engine available on the Sedan. There will be three engine options across the sedan range.

It looks a tad bigger and more sophisticated than the Innova. Don't you think so?

still lot of R&D going on. its just a preliminary stage. we will have to wait for the final product. its for sure that tata will be putting lots of technology into the cross over.
