Assuming that, by K you meant the Kizashi, even the Cruze has the same feature. Be in range and just press the Start/Stop button.

The proportions are very European (thank God!). The detailing does seem a little "Korean" (but nice Korean) instead of Teutonic. I would say its probably the most handsome Maruti after the Gypsy and the Vitara. The Interiors are nice, and I hope the quality of the fit and finish are as good as the design.

Pitted against the Cruze, it should be popular. Priced higher, I am not sure. I think the badge becomes very important in the 15L+ bracket. How else does one explain the absolute VFM + engine + 6 sp manual gearbox of the Sonata Transform selling dismal numbers?

^^ I dont think the site has anything to do with Kizashi. The hints on the site are more for crash test dummies

It's a known fact!

I mentioned about that feature in Cruze cos 'Paulstar' had compared the Cruze and the Kizashi in his post.

Great article and fantastic pictures of Russia!

The Kizashi seems to be one tough vehicle! If they price it right, I might upgrade from my Sx4.

Maruti Suzuki Plans a 'Made In India' Kizashi !!!

A Maruti Suzuki official said that:
"We will get the confidence to make the sedan here only when we generate adequate sales volumes from the CBUs and CKDs. We do have a plan, but there is a long time to it."
"But initially the Kizashi will be brought to Indian shores in the form of a CBU which means the base price is already pushed up by more than 100 per cent (including countervailing duties, education cess and other levies)."
"If it generates adequate sales volumes, the strategy is to shift from CBU to CKD. But CKDs will also attract a 60% duty. The rising yen cost is providing no relief either."

thats a straight out "no".
it'll be here, but priced out of its segment.
maruti is smart, i am sure they must have carried out adequate surveys to see the buying capability.
Only problem is, they are so corrupted by the numbers since their 800 days, they think small numbers are just not feasible, same numbers that a GM or Fiat would be more than happy to achieve.
shame though, we'll miss out on a great car and a headturner.

I think they ought to have got the car and assembled it here.At CBU prices this car is not value for money.Maruti missed a chance to at last make it big in the d-segment.Priced at Cruze prices the Kizashi would might have proved to be a gamechanger.
