Re: how much for a 2003 zen carbon?

8 years limited edition car and the residual shouldnot be anything more than 0.8-1.0 lakhs. Lesser the better.

Do you really want to spend your hard earned money on a car that has been (ab)used in racing?

re: The "USED" Car Price Check Thread. (Online tool : Page 1)

^^ that is a great price you got Akshay

since i presume the machine has been kept well , the new owner should be happy.

But corrosion issues would start/have started.

Yeah-you are right-it had started to corrode at 2-3 places, and i had to fix her up.And yeah-it was pampered well-hence the price.
I still remember-last year a moron had offered 1.1L for it

That is too low a price. I will be really happy if I get that.

Guys,

There's a Civic up for sale(Hyderabad) in Team-Bhp classifieds. Variant is 1.8S. ODO reading is:39,200. 2006 model. Asking price is 7 lacs. I'm yet to see the car.Assuming that it is in a good shape, is it a fair price?

Thanks.

Told who?

I remember seeing an handful of Maruti Zen Steel & Carbon ads online while searching for a Fiat Palio S10. I'm sharing the links to the ads.

And if you're okay with buying cars from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh. Do let me know as I've the links to the ads in the states mentioned.

For your kind information, I don't gain anything by sharing the above links, except may be few 'Thanks'.

A fairer price would be more like 5-5.25 lac. Civic prices have plummeted lately. The one you see in my signature was a 52k run December 2007 Civic 1.8 S-AT which we got for 6.25 from MFC(which is supposed to be the more expensive of the dealers) alongwith insurance, 1 year warranty and roadside assistance in October last year. Since it is a new year now, expected even lower pricing now. These days its easy to find even 2008-20k used examples for the price mine was bought. 7 is waay too much, for that price you can get a 2009 model.

re: The "USED" Car Price Check Thread. (Online tool : Page 1)

Team,
Urgent help is required.
I am a tall (6 ft) hefty fellow (90kg) using Zen now. Was looking for a "tall" vehicle
for ease of ingress and egress. The following offer came up
2010 registered Wagon R Vxi. 22000 km on Odo. Except for minor scratches no
other remarks. Asked my mechanic friend to drive the vehicle. He says no issue with
the vehicle.
Asking price is 3.1 Lakh. Though VXi , does not have ABS, Airbag.
I was initially looking for a tall vehicle and my gaze was fixed on Ritz.
My usage is only 500km per month. I was also tilting towards diesel intially following
the "herd".
Now, instead of spending near 6L on a diesel Ritz, Wagon R at 3.1 L is looking VFM
to me.
Kindly guide me as I have to give a reply to the seller tomorrow.

I am not sure if this is the right thread for this, however I wanted to know how much would a used ANHC VAT (Automatic) 2010 (September) with 15k on odo be priced at in NCR.

@Srikanth,

I think 3 lakhs is a good price for a hardly 2 year used Wagon-R.
Guess the 1st owner might be selling the car due to the petrol price hike. (considering that he travelled 22K kms in < 2 years, he should be tempted to buy a diesel vehicle). Start with a 2.75ish and see where it ends..

Also if you are driving only 500Kms per month, I donot think the premium paid for buying a diesel car can be justified.
I would say Get this one!!!

Well, it should be around 6.5-7. I think the new one is for 9.5 OTR. You have to keep in mind that recent price cuts have really tanked the ANHC market. Also, one can get a basic one (CE) for 7.5 OTR these days. So, you should use it as a bargaining point. Oh forgot to ask, are you buying or selling

Where have you been buddy. Long time, no post!

WagonR VXi 2010 for 3.1 L is a good deal.

If it is a new WagonR (facelifted with the extended wheelbase) it costs around 4.8 L on road today in Bangalore.
  • Such a second hand vehicle if it is 24 months old (2010) should fetch a decent 4.0 lakhs.
  • Such a second hand vehicle if it is 13 months old (2010) should fetch a decent 4.3 lakhs.
So if this is the case then it is a good deal. Check for service history, insurance claims (any major), body condition (paint difference if recently repainted door or panel), and what kind of usage it was put to (company owned, driver driven etc.)

If it is the old model WagonR then such a second hand car should be priced another 25 K or so lesser.

These are just numbers that can guide, and the actuals will depend on the detailed examination of the vehicle. Hope that helps in a small way!
