lets see if it can go faster than the Veyron.
Dude, looks like youve lost it man!!! Veyron isnt some cleopatra to please its admirers by virtue of its looks...the purpose of its existence is way beyond your comprehension. Just do a seach on what its taken for the builders to bring this car to life and you will know what Im speaking about. Its a technological marvel and leagues ahead of all the supercars bundled in a jute sack!!! Veyron is not about a friggin V8 or V10, a fancy grill or a hood scoop , its a W16 build with loads and loads of attitude and worksmanship so to speak about. How can u even compare the veyron with that amateurish SSC??huh!!! Infact the SSC looks like some bangalore based engineering college annual project work product!!!

Pawan dude, just relax man...you dont seem to be anywhere close to a word called technology so lets not speak about the tolerance n rigidity of metals and its heat dissipation coefficients...

And yeah Bugatti isnt some backyard company to have built a machine like veyron, back funded by VW and not know that a V8 can be made to produce 1000 odd bhps, cmon man just get to think of it man!!! Those 4 TC's and 10 radiators have its specific purpose, like hit that 400kmps+ mark almost all its life and not JUST once to get itself nominated for a one run hero awards!!!

If wikipedia is right hasn't the bugatti been restricted to its present top speed due to tyre wear issues, wonder what's the special formula ssc/michelin is using in this regard.

Just imagine if some one has the ball$ to tune Veyron's engine then we would be talking 1250 BHP+ then my friend SSC wont even stand a chance.

Edit : Now beat this, can the SSC beat this

I think the argument is over. I suppose it would be better of continuing the thread on the topic (SSC).

Im sure it would be nice, and beneficial for everyone if you shared some of your knowledge with us ananth. After all that is what Team-BHP is about. Its not about the 1 on 1 conversation you are having on the board, its about the 10,000 other people gaining something when they read that conversation.

Well, this comparo is for some of us who wanna speak about JUST the looks aspect of this car called SSC and BUGATTI VEYRON...

Here is the BRAND NEW economic, understated, ccx'ish, non pig-nosed, yet to be tested in the yr 2007 SSC,

and here you have the OLD,2001 tested Veyron,

Comments please...

I don't want to get in the fight regarding Euro v American, but all I have to say regarding the visual appeal is that Looks are subjective.

.. yes exactly my point..
so you also agree the bugatti has a snout in the front like a pig, like a cartoon character...mickey mouse's car ..
hmm...and from this angle it seems it's overweight and fat also...

check out this URL from Rsportscars.com
http://www.rsportscars.com/foto/04/s...e06_011600.jpg
the SSC looks aggressive and sharp..

again..looks are subjective...but if you look at the SSC in the URL it looks more atheletic as compared to the blob like veyron..
what say ?
