I got the tyres removed off the alloy wheels and then got them painted.
Dont forget to get the HS clear coat on top. (Very durable)

Hi, Could you or anyone please share information on where these side cladding is available in Delhi? I am really looking something like this for my aunt who is little aged and new driver, but I could not find it on AliExpress or elsewhere.

Actually, my aunt has 2013 Mars Red ES and few months ago she rubbed the side bulges on top of rear wheel well with gates of the apartment's parking slot, resulting in some scratches and little paint chipping off. The damage is not to the extent requiring a costly repainting of entire panel. But finding matching mars red paint for minor job is difficult. She is busy working woman so calls me every time to check issues. Last time I used Abro scratch remover and wife's nail paint. Followed by a coating of clear coat pen. It does the job pretty fine for few months.

Sadly yesterday while reversing once again she hit the other side of the edge exactly on same spot and same place! and this time it doesn't look too good. I have shown her this picture of cladding and she is very much interested to have this full body cladding. Any help to procure this product will be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks Ecosport Rules for this thread. Tastefully done mods. Very subtle.

I have recently purchased a Ecoboost in the same silver colour and looking forward to grab a lot of items from aliexpress. Keeping this thread as the ecosport bible

And like you have mentioned, planning to get the Auto Dimming IRVM, Rear View Camera from the dealer. Will try to fabricate the metal engine guard from outside.

Regarding the rear camera, is there any other way this can be fitted than screwing it. Looks like it can be easily removed by mischief makers.

Cheers,
Raj...

Do the front and rear bumper applique's match up to your car silver color? I have booked a silver ES and really love the way your ride looks. Makes it look very butch and cool.

I have seen my friend's silver ecosport recently. Yes, the appliques really do match the moon dust silver shade of the vehicle and add to the SUV stance. BTW which variant of ecosport have you booked?

Thanks for the kind words.

Another way to install the camera is by drilling a hole with hole saw.

Perfect match to silver.
In fact you can apply a High solid clear coat to enhance the life of the paint on the appliques.

I have the same lights on my swift and they have improved my highway driving by leaps and bounds. I am finalising on buying the Ecosport Titanuim + Tdci and was wondering If i could fit the existing lights. This post has come as a blessing.
If its not much of a trouble,I would really appreciate If you could share some details on the installation-how was the clamp welded or bolted with some pics, front pics of the car in day time etc.

Rakesh,

Welding the bracket might weaken the tie member, always best to bolt in the brackets.

-I bought the brackets which are used to fix the aftermarket front crash guard.
-Opened the front bumper-bolted the bracket around the tie member.
-Made a detachable wiring harness and hooked everything together.

Let me check if I have any pictures from my installation

Many thanks for the pics. The clamps look neat. But do the lights vibrate since i see a big overhang plus the lights are very heavy. If it's not much of a trouble, can you please post a front pic of the car with the lights.

Can you also share a pic of the switch and its location. I am not quite sure on the location of the switch that you have mentioned.

And cant the clamps be welded to the frame rather than bolted. That would take care of any loosening occurring over a period of time.
