Re: My Silver Ford EcoSport Titanium (O) TDCi. First delivered in India!

Is it possible to buy a Cruise control kit of Ecosport from US or Europe or any other country and install it in AT model here?
Anyone has done it here?
If yes, how about the warranty?

Sure here I've attached. Feel free to ask me if any additional images needed.
The connector and the fixutres are exactly same.no need of tapping wires or cutting plastics required.

I got that from ebay UK for about Rs6000. Its not that you need only exact Ecosport display, even ford Focus, Fiesta displays works but they need to be configured to work with Ecosport. Ecosport called as B-car in ford's terminologies, that is why out e-manual says B515.

What's the wiper size on the front? 22" and 16"? Planning to order a Bosch set and installing them myself.

Yes 22" and 16".

Wipers are easy to install and remove, just make sure that you do not put a lot of strain on the frame, of your wiper arm.

Hi ecosport rules,

Which model is the yokohama exactly. Cannot find this size on their website. Is it an imported tyre not being supported by Yokohama India?
Considering this tyre as I am looking mainly on comfort. Current tyre is stock goodyear 205/60/r16 on titanium(o). Tempted by your post as you are happy with comfort on the new set.

Some questions on this yokohama 215
1. Any noticeable drop in power? Assuming you have not remapped and on stock 90bhp
2. Any problem with water being sprayed onto the side due to extra width?
3. How many kms covered on the new set now and is it still bringing a smile?
4.Any negatives apart from warranty issue?
5. What is the tyre pressure to maintain on these tyres

Thanks in advance

2)No issue with water spray.
3)10000 kms covered and I am very happy with the tyres
4) No warranty issue
5) 32 psi to 34 psi

Re: My Silver Ford EcoSport Titanium (O) TDCi. First delivered in India!

What a fun thread to read! Especially when I'm confirming my Ecosport in a month. This thread is specifically awesome because almost all accessories you have got are practical and no non-sense. I have a few questions if you have the time to kindly answer.
1. It's been a long time since your light upgrades. How are they holding up? Have you found any decent technician who could do the projector light upgrade in Hyderabad instead of shipping out to Vizag or elsewhere?
2. I see that you've got a lot of your stuff online and many from abroad. Do you think we can go those now in India, especially in Hyderabad? May be on minister road?
3. What's your favorite/recommended Ford Service center here?

Congratulations and thank you for your kind words.

1) Lights are awesome, not even a single problem.
There are many in Hyderabad and Bangalore who do this work now but why do you want to go through that hassle?
Best thing would be to get a readymade set from Eagle eye brand which are plug and play type headlamps(I have posted the pictures on this thread)
2)Absolutely.
3) Mody Ford ,bowenpally.

All the best for your purchase

Thanks a lot ER for the reply! I hate to be chasing you with questions like a news reporter but once one finds an informed guy such as you, it's hard to let go that easy

When you mentioned it earlier in the thread, I searched but couldn't find "Eagle eye" brand lights online that sell in India. The only ones I found was Autoglam. I would prefer getting the lights modified rather than buy a new set if that means saving a good amount of money.

Also, have you considered further upgrades? Like may be the Sony audio system that comes in the Europe Ford Ecosports? Or a replacement wider armrest that can be used by the passengers as well?
