When do we get information from hyundai about booking - giving us engine number, chassis number and expected date of shipment to dealer?
They gave me the Engine and Chassis number after i informed them that i have drawn the DD in full amount. I think its the same with your dealer too. The dealer will come to know about the shipment immediately after the vehicle has been loaded in the truck probably a week before it arrives at the showroom . During that time you need to take the remaining DD amount.

Indeed a good news.
Here its 4 weeks

You were complaining about in-cabin noise. Did you take a TD before booking Getz D?

4weeks wait is too much man. I hope they stick to their promise with me.

I was quiet satisfied after second TD. I was actually impressed with the in-cabin insulation.
I think there was some problem with the first TD car.

Thats what everybody was telling. Car is super smooth inside the cabin.
Engine noise is more when heard from outside

The engine rpm at idle is around 800 rpm and this causes little inconvenience while driving at 2nd gear . If i slow down to 500 rpm and when i release the brakes the car automatically moves near to 1000 rpm . So while driving at bumper to bumper traffic at 2nd gear , i had to keep the clutch pressed and release when needed else i may hit the vehicle at front.
What shall i do about this? Ask the service guy to reduce the idle rpm ?

USe 1st gear for such situations..less strain on your engine and gearbox!

Exactly, do not put much stress on a new car.

Oh. I thought 1st gear would put more stress than 2nd gear. But i have no other choice , sometimes i leave it neutral and shift it when needed (only during this situation). Else i had to drive on clutch in 2nd gear or keep the brakes pressed lightly and drive and i get those jerks at the lowest rpm , still not good for brakes. So the best way is to shift to gear 1 at these times .

Yes i am going for finance from SBH ( ilkal, north karnataka branch).

Loan amount is 5 lacs and interest rate 11% with no processing fee and no stamp duty charges.

I have some securities in that branch.
No prepayment penalty and no monthly installments. I can pay anytime i like and interest would be charged on outstanding amount cheers:
No hypothecation required.
I just need to call up the branch manager and i will get DD for 5 lacs in a day. Sounds cool right?

Vabs,

What is your expected delivery date?

Mine is not yet confirmed.

Can we fit an armrest available in Getz GLX top end for the driver seat in Getz CRDi?
