Facing some issues, need to take it to HASS. But before that I would liketo get clarified here.
Parking lights are not working(front, rear) after the angel eyes(CCFL's are working if connected directly from battery) were connected. Current is not passing from the wires to Parking light.
We checkd the Fuse too, (Fuse #8 below the steering). Fuse if fine
What could be the issue?
Wiring was done perfectly.

Today morning my HU LCD (only LCD display) is not producing proper light, it's way dull(every interior light is working perfectly), but the moment I put the parking lights switch the LCD display is proper.
HU is working perfectly, except for the display.
So what could be the issue ?
I'm very much concerned about the car now.

Thats strange. Seems like a voltage issue. Something is drawing more current perhaps? Can you take a multimeter and check voltage at various points (headlight points, parking light points, HU power supply etc). Reading should be 12V.

I have no clue on this. I love the day time lights we saw on this thread earlier. But it's things like this that i fear of. And hence refrain from getting them installed

Sushrutha ~ hope the issue gets sorted out at the earliest. And everything is up and running as it should be ASAP. Would love to see the pics once everything is up and running.

Check your display britness settings. They are different when parking (or head) light on and when they are off.

While retrofitting we had checked with not one but two multimeters .
The retrofitting was done by my dear friends..
Will write a detailed review later.

Thanks for the words ...
Nopes DRL's shouldn't be any problem ... well I have removed the DRL's after the Projectors were fitted ...
With those many lights running, DRL's would have looked odd.

The issue was only with the HU display, rest every other interior light was fine.

Congratulations. It is always a nice feeling when the issue gets resolved. Which fuse was this again?

The Concorde looks fantastic with the new eyes. A sight for sore eyes indeed.
Here I spotted darker blue American Civic with ducktail spoilers in our parking lot. Will try to take a picture. The ducktail spoiler looks really nice and gives an extra dimension to the rear of the car.

Went to the Link, It seems like an interesting product.
And it says you can use in in virtually any vehicle.
Which is an added benefit, when in future you upgrade your ride

Buddy did you consult anyone before ordering that?

Please cancel it is you can. Its quite useless and overpriced for what it does. The Civic stereo has enough of bass as it is, and there is some hack to not restrict the bass at all. If you have done that there there is no need for this ReQ.

IMO first add speakers and an amp, and then if you feel the bass is lacking order something like this.

Thanks DOT.
Yep now that's the only thing which is pending on my car. A small rear LIP spoiler.
Also I'm thinking of adding a Power Antenna at the rear, this would slightly add to the character of the car ...
Samething I had got done for my CITY too.
Here is the pic ;-).. Civic is edited

Yes it is Pricey, but being an audio noob i did not know whether it is worth it or not. Thanks for throwing some light on the subject.

We use the bass hack often. It does increase the bass which is good for Hindi and Hip hop numbers. For instrumental themes like jazz or western classical or movie scores, which is what we mostly listen to, the hack produces an odd mid range.

I was aware that Civic does not require bass boost as the hack allows full bass to reach speakers. The reason why I bought this product is that the line converters from other manufacturers like Scosche are lossy. This guy has gain controls for each channel and the best of all, 3 RCA pre-outs. I can hook up a 5 channel amp from reQ directly. Finally for 84$, one cant go too wrong. Thats almost the same price of the Scosche line out converter in India.

Yet to click the civic with the lip spoiler.

Power antenna, wow. Thats a bit retro. Why not the shark fin antenna.

Yes, Dot showed me how to do the Hack. and i do use it sometimes. Only pain being, it has to be done everytime you start the car.
aah, ok at $84 is seems more reasonable. The website mentions an astronomical price. Hope this turns out to be what you were looking for and what you are expecting from it.

Somehow I have always liked the Power antenna very much.
I had put it in my CITY almost 3.5 yrs back a Taiwan made one.. It's still working perfectly fine. Had paid around 1.1K by then

Yep everytime it has to be done, once the car is restarted.
Steps to unleash

Unleash the BASS

i) Hold '4' & '6' buttons and press 'ON' and you will see DIAG on display
ii) Press '4' once and it would display DSP = FLAT
iii) Then now press '4' again for 5 seconds+ till you get DSP = OFF
iv) Turn off the player now and ON it !

I use the Scosche LoC. And am quite fine with the result. Compared to a 'proper' RCA based setup in the other car. But then I must say that I'm not very finicky about the fines nuances of audio reproduction ! Prefer to focus more on the music

This seems a similar product with the addition of some EQ controls. Where I would be skeptical is to allow what-could-be low spec electronics (compared to say a good sound processor in a HU) to further tweak/equalize the signal. Also, am a bit confused about the 3RCA output. The specs mention separate inputs for Front, Rear and Sub. I wonder if it will give a 3 channel output, if the input is just Front and Rear (which is what it would be in the Civic).

But as you said, $84 (for the price of a Scosche LoC) makes it worth trying out. Eagerly waiting to see the results !
