I searched the forum but couldn't find the converstion kit details on this forum....please help me with the following.

1. compared to 60/55 stock bulbs are the xenon hid very good?
2. can the xenon hid melt the headlight dome in baleno?
3. what is the price range of 'xenon hid conversion kit'?
4. which are the best kits around and indicative price?
5. any precautions to be taken while getting the kit fixed in baleno?

1)comparing stock bulbs to xenons is like comparing chalk and cheese
2) very doubtful....
3)12000 to 20000

I dont think it can melt a Baleno's HL assembly.
Get a good wiring kit and replace the stock kit.

I am using Philips Xenon from the last 3 months no problem till now. No melting of dome etc.. I got it for 22k .

and how much of a improvement is it over stock... or even 100/90's??.. Is it worth spending all that??

Last time i went to the Skoda workshop, there was a car which had just fitted a Philips 4000k Xenon kit..and got its electricals all screwed up. Could be the electricians fault, or maybe someting wrong with the product..

I would say Company fitted Xenon are the best .......

Mine is working fine. Must be the bad installer.

20k+ is quite a big jump from halogen bulbs.

Is there any VFM brand in HID Xenons???

there is a guy in bomby with a kit for as low as 14.5k. met him at the auto show at BKC and he gives regular ads in the car mags. check him out. and its all inclusive of fitting with a guarantee

sainath in khar had it for 14k

dont remember his name , maybe its the same guy

14k for high and low beam or just the low beam?

Btw, Xenons are 35watts, which is less than even standard bulbs, so they won't melt your headlamp.

i think only low beam
