Thank you for responding to my earlier post, diyguy! No offence to your kind reply, but I would like to advise fellow T-BHPians against purchasing from industrybuying.com, and not just because they sell overpriced (over which you pay a ridiculous shipping fare).

I ordered the Bosch Clear Advantage 24" 14" wipers for my 2014 Honda City from industrybuying on Dec 29, 2015 and was delivered frustration for the next ten days instead. Their tele-helpline does not work to make matters worse. The only way you can contact them is through email, to which they respond taking their own sweet time. Many have already posted complaints against this online retailer in other forums. Finally they cancelled the order on Jan 11, 2016 after being blamed as a fraud service and being told that I would go to the authorities. I hope a more concerned customer takes it up to TVS and Murugappa so they can keep a check on where their investment is heading!

Though the pic has different image the product description says Bosch CA.
I went ahead with skyliner34's suggestion and got these from SnapDeal for less than 700 bucks. Thanks buddy! Although I must mention that they sent me a 24" 13" set imported in Sep 2015.

2014 Honda City uses the hook-type wiper connector and Bosch CA's are real easy to fit (read - real easy to flick!) and get installed in place with just a click. The plastic bit that connects the wiper and the hook seems to be a little flimsy but holds the wiper well, nonetheless. Beware when you install them. A little too much force and you might have to get a new one! As expected, the wipe area is not perfect due to the size mismatch but the action is clean and noise-free.

Time for some amateur pics, eh? Meet Dee Dee:

The longer wiper arm does jut out when resting, but hardly blocks the view.

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

Hey Guys, Sachin's AutoShop in Koramangala, Bangalore does not sell 12" Hella DynaEdge Wiper blades anymore.

Can someone please help with a new source in Bangalore?

I use the 12" DynaEdge on my Thar, they are by far the best Wiper Blades I have used!

Hella dynaedge is stopped. It is now replaced by Hella Curvo. Try with Konark accessories opposite to MTR on Lalbagh Road.

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

Hello everyone,
I have an Elite i20 (P) of 2014 make. The wipers, lately, I feel have started leaving streaks on windshield glass. I am thinking of replacing them. Can anyone please suggest the right size for front wiper sets for the elite i20 and which ones should i go for ?
As suggested in this thread I don't want to spend too much on wipers but the looks of those frameless wipers are attracting me.

Thanks.

Great to see, how was the overall delivery experience. How long did they take.

I am planning to get 12" DynaEdge from here, as the prices are almost more than 100 less than automotive soul.

It took around 8 working days for it to reach.

All emails sent were to deaf ears and blind eyes. No replies whatsoever till date.

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

Guys,

I bought this frameless wiper blades from snapdeal for my Figo (2011), but I can't seem to fit them properly.

http://www.snapdeal.com/product/g-m-...0figo%20wipers

The instructions said -
Quote:

How to install:
1. Take off the original wiper blades. Note: universal U-type hook
2. Open the hook of the wiper blade.
3. Fit the wiper blade on the U-type hook.
4. Pull the wiper blade up, make the U-type hook and the wiper blade connect tightly.
5. Close the hook of the wiper blade
I am stuck at step 4. The U-type hook and the wiper blade do not sit tight. Am I using an incompatible wiper blade for the car? Or are the wiper blades truly universal?

Any assistance will be highly appreciated!

You are not alone. I too have gone through this issue and then decided to look at better stuff. The left wiper wasn't fitting in at all whereas the right one went in somehow after so much pressing.

I thought my Swift's arm wasn't good so I tried it in my Ertiga too but no luck so gave up and reverted to stock.

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

Hey guys,

I was wondering that since the Skoda Fabia used to come with flat / aero wiper blades, can these be fitted on a Polo / Vento? Yes one would need to change the wiper arm as well but that is not an issue.

What are your thoughts on the same?

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

This rainy season will be the second one for my Hella Dynaedge's and surprisingly no streaks or noises from them at all!

Let's see if they hold up until June.

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

Haven't been able to locate Bosch Clear Advantage or Hella Dynaedge/Curvo in Mumbai shops. No one seems to be stocking them now. Need a set for a 2012 Honda City (24", 14"). Anyone know where these may be available in Mumbai? Online would also work, but all of the usual suspects are saying out of stock!
