Bought a pair of lovely BOSCH Wipers for my Dad's Indica last Saturday in the
"AUTO SHOP" in Koramangala which is located close to the BOSCH office gate on that small lane after Tata Indicom, connecting Hosur Road diagonally opposite FORUM with the inner bits of Koramangala 5th Block area.

These are the normal BOSCH, not Aerotwin.

Good quality and not expensive - Rs 350 the pair.

Dad's pleased with them and is waiting to check them out when it rains.

Cheers

Take the road in front of National Games village towards forum.
After going strainght for a while Take right on Junction Near to Cream and Fudge Factory and then next left to the lane which opens opposit to Star Bazar. There is a Sai Baba temple and this shop is next to Sai Baba Temple.

The Guy on 80 Feet Road ( towards HSR Layout) is brother of Auto Fusion
near to Koramangla Club , and he can direct you to his gaurage which is also a good place in koramangla.

I know few shops in Kormangala. One on the road towards left side from Sony world signal to HSR layout road. Others near ShanthiSagar side road inside.

I need to change wipers in car.

BOSCH blades in GGN

Hey guys.. got the blades for my Baleno about a week back. And finally the it rained yesterday, so got to test them out. They're worth the hype.. no squeaking noises, and perfect wipe clean. Thanks Sankar, for posting out the wiper details for most cars.

Getting ready for the monsoon, bought a pair of BOSCH wiper blade for WagonR. The 18"/16" combo pack was not available, so the dealer gave me one of 18" and another of 16", total price Rs. 260 /-

I used aerotwins on my swift last year, but sadly they warped after 4 months or so and the pressure the viper holder exerted was not enough to arc the blade with respect to the windscreen, resulting in partial cleaning.

How much time should one replace the wipers? My car's done 15500 and stands in the heat every single day. I've noticed consistent fine lines while wiping of late.

deathwalkr, there is a bosch official shop at pattom ( near the new pattom palace Post office) . You might want to check there, see if you can place an order if they dont have stock

I got the bosch 3 397 010 050 wiper for my Baleno as a replacement for my stock one. This one was 20"/17" but the stock was 20"/18". I picked this as the 18" model was out of stock. Didn't get a chance to test this, but will update the status in 2-3 days. The total cost was Rs: 300/- and installed the same myself.

I guess you know pattom Junction - the circle where you get to go to Cosmo / Medical hopsital, Kesavadasapuram, Palayam and Kuravankonam.

In that junction if you are coming from Palayam going towards Kesavadasapuram you'll get Kendriya Vidyalaya to your left. The shop is opposite to this on the right side of the road.

I've tried sourcing Bosh wiper blades for my Maruti but the problem is that most of the packs I find at shops are 2-3 years old. i.e. the manufacturing date on them is 2006 or 2007.

As a rule of thumb, I avoid any rubber part that's older than a year. So I've been running the MGP "syndicate" which don't work well.

- Do the bosh wiper blades work well even if they are 2-3 years old!
- Where can I source fresh stock's of Bosh wiper blades?
