Interesting! So if you paste this arrow at the back of the mirror which is silver coated from behind will this light still show up in the front, on the mirror surface? Have you tested this?

Hi, Thanks for the exhaustive list. The efforts are really appreciated.

Just for my information could you recommend a suitable option for the ORVM Rain Visor/Cover. I have a Ertiga and the drives in the rains all these past weeks has been horrible, especially at Night.

I have searched at various websites and found some options as well, but was just looking for some recommendations from a known source. And what better than Team-Bhp.

Re: Small, yet value-adding Accessories for your car

Excellent thread - thanks Samaspire for taking the effort and putting this together. Now I don't need to go to AliExpress and search various categories - this thread itself has more than what would be required.

Thank you very much!

Re: Small, yet value-adding Accessories for your car

Excellent thread!!

My contribution:

IN-027 : Car Trash Bin

Very useful item which prevents bits of paper (from tolls, chocolate wrappers and other wastes) from lying around in the car on the dashboard, under the hand brake etc. Preferable to use only for dry waste. Hopefully helps in keeping the surroundings clean by reducing the urge to throw garbage on public roads

Link to product: http://www.amazon.in/Generic-unbrand...=car+trash+bin

Price: Currently Rs.239.

Decently built for the price with a spring loaded closing action. Fits in any 1 liter bottle holder space (or) next to the handbrake as well. Highly recommended based on my usage over the past 2 months

Re: Small, yet value-adding Accessories for your car

Thanks for the appreciation guys. I have just started this thing; anyone can add on stuff that they think is useful.

Your suggestion is good, but which model do I start with?
But I'll give it a try.

Any opinions which one is better?
Don't know how it will scratch the paint, but yes, dirt will get accumulated inside it.

3M PPF will be effective, but if you know how to install it, 3M film rolls can be bought online.

I have my doubts too, but customer feedback from various listings say that it works. I will confirm when I have installed the arrows. They have been lying in a box for the last month.

I have wishlisted the product but did not include it in the first round because I'm not sure of its effectiveness. For the kind of rains we get in the coast, I can guarantee that it will be useless. But for bangalore rains, maybe.

I will list it next but I think something like Rain X will be more effective. Have read and heard a few good things about it.

Re: Small, yet value-adding Accessories for your car

@samaspire: that is an epic list of accessories! Thanks so much for taking the time to compile all that.

I was quite keen on the turn indicators, probably adapt them to become puddle lamps!

Thanks again for this.
