I bought this product (Taslar) couple months ago, haven't used it too much but it was definitely useful on our last highway trip to Palakkad. Haven't had any issues so far. I like the fact that the 12/24V charging sockets have individual switches for control.

I purchased https://www.aliexpress.com/item/QUID...846374700.html as it is comparatively cheaper.

I bought this Rooftop Car Carrier Bag from Amazon and it has performed really well. One can use it with a Roof Carrier as well as without a carrier, provided the car has roof rails.

I have used it with the roof carrier and I strongly recommend the product. This bag protects the luggage from Sun, Dust, Rain and of-course from flying off the vehicle. The product comes packed in a rubber bag which is also of very good quality and after use, you can pack it back in the bag. Last but not the least, I think it adds to the good looks of any SUV😁. The product also has very good genuine reviews (in my opinion) on Amazon. Attaching some pictures from my own use with my Duster and some from Amazon to give you an idea of how the product can be used without a roof carrier.

With the kind of items we keep in the boot these days, it becomes essential to organise them and make sure they don't move around.

My boot currently has multiple cotton clothes for washing the car, few microfiber clothes, 1 liter water bottle filled with diluted windshield washer fluid (Proklear diluted in 1:100 ratio), Jopasu duster, and tissue box.
I plan to add a 9L foldable bucket, Sonax interior cleaner, Sonax leather cleaner, and tyre cleaner bottles.

Are there are useful products that help organise the boot with so many products?

Been using it since a year. No issues at all. One socket is being used for dash cam and the other can be used for mobile charging.
Best thing is it sits firm in the cup holder

Can you guys suggest for some lockable storage in car?

I am not exactly looking for a safe though. There is this person who had gotten contract for car wash in our society. He employs few lads to clean all the car parked in basement biweekly. Now small things like loose coins, 3M wipes etc. keeps on missing from my car. I know some of those lads are responsible, but I donít have any proof. Moreover, I donít feel like making an issue over some loose coins and used wipes. I just need something that can be locked to deter those guys from doing their tricks.

Anyone using a trashcan in the car? My toddler is very fond of eating chips & candy while travelling long distance, and the plastic wrappers get trapped under the seats.

I got this small bluetooth / FM device a few months back from Aliexpress for around $10 USD.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Onev...76c24c4dNxB8VT

Plugs into the 12v socket and has the following features:
  • Connects to phone via bluetooth and to car FM via low power FM transmitter
  • Can receive, end and reject calls
  • Shows battery voltage in ON and IGN positions.
  • Has 2 USB ports - 1x 2.1A which I am using for my dashcam, 1x 1A which I periodically use to charge my phone (slow charge though). The second low power USB can also take a pen drive to play music
  • Micro SD slot to play music - I mostly use this option
  • Music via bluetooth & FM from phone - the physical button on the device can control fwd/rwd on phone player / streaming apps

Overall this device has bridged the gap to a large extent of not having USB / SD card slot to play music in the HU, and not having built-in bluetooth telephone connectivity.

Easiest solution is to keep all the stuff in a school bag and lock it with a simple combination lock. They wouldn't dare steal the whole bag. And even if they did, you can rightfully blame them.

You can buy a stationary box. Most of these boxes have inbuilt locks. I remember when I was in school, my pouch had a pocket with a lock on the zipper. I used to keep my glue stick there.

Thank you for making me nostalgic, I used to keep my glass marbles in them .

I was thinking in similar line to make use of an old backpack. Then I was thinking of something that I can put in a cup holder or storage under the hand rest. This kind of arrangement would be neat.

Can someone please recommend me the good quality car back seat organizer?
I am confused since there are many online sellers, selling same item at different prices. I am not sure if the quality of these items will be same or different.

Any downsides / how's the experience so far?
- Call quality
- Bluetooth mobile music connectivity
- Connects with iPhone & android (I guess this is given)
