Re: Small, yet value-adding Accessories for your car

Here are photos of the plastic tray I use. The handle is essential to keep it in place hooked on a seat frame rail. Otherwise the tray will slide around on braking. You could use any means of your choice to secure the tray.

I would suggest a 5 litre plastic jerrycan to be kept in the Boot. It's for the occasions when you may just run out of fuel and have to get it in a container from the nearest petrol pump.

So what did YOU buy? Can you share YOUR photos of any of these things in YOUR car?

Thanks!

I was planning to put those photos in my ownership review; it should be up by the end of this month.

FYI, I have yet to receive some of the items and I haven't installed a few from what that I have received. And I haven't bought everything listed here - some are of no use to me. A lot of stuff here is what I discovered as I was building this thread and I thought others might benefit from them.

I have found a few more such things that I will be adding here soon. You can also contribute your finds - I'm pretty sure you have some good ones

This is one excellent and informative thread. I was absolutely unaware of a few items tabulated there.

There will always be an eye on this thread from now on and thank you for sharing the details.

SF-008 : Grab handle + window breaker + seat belt cutter

Useful for aiding old / ailing persons to get out of the car. Will also be useful in case of an accident where you need to either break the windshield or cut the Seatbelt. Also had an inbuilt flashlight.

Well other uses apart, I think the functionality about aiding old persons to get out is exaggerated. First of all, it will scratch the surface below; secondly the door lock will have to undergo excess strains which it may or may not be designed for. One of the images has a person standing on it which seems like a severe abuse IMHO.

Just wondering that there was no quick fix to 'wandering' Tissue boxes in the car, when bang it comes....Thanks Thilak ! This can be a quick DIY also.

Re: Small, yet value-adding Accessories for your car

Found a storage net on AliExpress (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Car-...406409157.html)

To organize things in the boot a little better, I think this is nifty little thing to have.

I cannot think of any situation in today's date when that would happen under normal circumstances. Having a can handy at home and using it for that occasional trip to the wilderness makes sense, but having it in the boot all the time....well, at least I don't see any value in that.
