Has anyone used this type of rearview mirror? Does it help?

Not these but I have mirrors like this one installed in my Ertiga. Helps a lot to see entire running board till the end of the car. Cost 80₹ a pair from Kashmiri Gate, Delhi.

Re: Small, yet value-adding Accessories for your car

Picked up a couple of travel accessories from Amazon.in

Seatbelt Pillows for Kids:
https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07QTHKPWL/
Price: Rs. 349
Units: 4 pillows (for 2 kids)

Protects kids' head (from banging the window) and holds them in place when they snooze on long highway trips. Looks like the item I bought is out of stock. Just type 'seatbelt pillow' in Amazon search and look for alternatives.

"Electrostatic" Sunshades:
https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07QK28PMW/
Price: Rs. 474
Units: 2 (one transparent, one semi-transparent)

Unlike sunshades with suction cups that don't last long, this one just sticks to the window and stays there for a long time (apparently). One unit is more transparent that the other, and does not significantly affect visibility when used at the front.

Is this to be used in the child seat or without any child seat?

It's just a cushioned piece that's wrapped around the seat belt, so it can be used by anybody; not necessarily kids. No connection to the child seat.

I tried them on my Endeavour and frankly they are too small to offer any real help, especially the one on the left. I never really found any use for them. But let me highlight a few points:

1. The adhesive they provide is really strong.
2. If you order 2 pieces (L and R), they can be adjusted to cover all the 4 wheels perfectly, and on a smaller car might be useful to some extent.
3. The mirror is plastic and not glass as some of the sellers claim.
4. People, I mean, on the road, parking area, etc, like to fiddle with them and several times you will find them completely misaligned. It's a pain to readjust the left mirror unless you have a willing passenger.
5. Really can live without them.

Re: Small, yet value-adding Accessories for your car

Hi Folks,

The 12v USB charger which came along with the dashcam was protruding out and kinda lose so started searching for the one which completely fits inside the socket and doesn't come out at all.

A mini 12v USB charger so to say.

Finally ordered this one and I must say its good.

Aluminium build and is heavy to weigh as well.

When the ignition is on it has a blue LED-lit as well.

Fits completely into the socket and hardly protrudes

OT: Ye old accessory of yore, a Car Cooler!
It might have been predecessor to the car air conditioner.

Re: Small, yet value-adding Accessories for your car

I got these Door Edge Protection Strip from Amazon recently for my White Crysta. Must say the product was beyond my expectations and looks quite neat while offering adequate protection to the doors.

Price: Rs 499

So, you were afraid that the RVMs might break, and become non-functional, so you removed them and made them non-functional yourself.

I have no idea why a majority of people think of 2 wheeler RVMs as mere useless accessories to be removed post taking delivery.

Re: Small, yet value-adding Accessories for your car

Folks I am looking for a good quality snap-on steering wheel cover for my Creta.

The company fitted one has a leather finish and I want to avoid spoiling/damaging it.

I am looking for good quality covers which are snap-on.

I am located in Bangalore so if anyone is aware of any accessory shop please share the details.

I am open for online purchase also.

Would appreciate the suggestions.
