This is so because in the Gypsy the floor bed rises above immediately after front seats. The rear seats are elevated. The windows have to be positioned higher in its consideration.

I would call it illegal. More than the illegality, it is nonsensical to have a gate jut out onto the road like that. At night, you have a high probability of someone crashing onto it.
