From the 'lip job' on the front bumper, the owner seems to be a huge Car fan & the inspiration is very much evident Obviously the driver wanted to have a Lightning McQueen in black !

I am really surprised by the way this car is modified.

To start with the front, the headlamps are probably sourced from aftermarket maruti 800 clusters.

The rear end is less hideous than the latter but the original exhaust which sits below the two faux ones is sure to make many people scratch their heads in confusion

Definitely a wacky modification.

Found this lovely automobile listed for sale on OLX. Apparently it is a 1996 model Tata Estate. That sticker on the front bumper looks like the “I drive safe” Team-BHP sticker that has been painted over. The presence of that sticker indicates that this car once belonged to a BHPian/ enthusiast

Found this masterpiece while scrolling insta! This is supposed to be an Accord turned into 1969 Mustang according to the description. The rear is cringeworthy, not sure about rest of the car though!

P.S.: I am pretty sure the rammed up Dzire parked next to it must have appeared in some ‘Hail Lord Tiago’ post on Instagram.

Actually, that looks decent enough. Except for that wing kink in the rear. He's tried to capture all the generic elements of the period Mustang. But I think he's taken the best angle photos. A flat front and side profile would confirm that the stance would be all wrong. And those wheels are horrid!

I would have believed it to be original if saw it on the street, the work is done well. But maybe after looking closely and examining things? Who knows.

One has to wonder, how someone converted a Japanese family sedan like the Accord into a 69 pony car. The Wheels and the scoop behind the front door are wrong, while the LEDS are unnecessary on the taillights. Get the right ones and it almost looks 'Physically' like the real car. Overall not a bad job I would say. I have seen a lot of contessas and other vehicles try to be the 69 mustang and ends up being a poor copy, while this one almost manages.
