Yup From Bharat Car, Its big? Would you suggest one which fits the 800 please? I have no clue of the model number. I costed me 3.2k

I did not remove the cat con btw, The Exhaust doesnt add majorly to the performance to get a gain in 0-100 timings with my engine i'll mostly get a Max gain of say 3%. I would be installing headers after a while I wanted a good exhaust to go with it, hence this. Now your skepticism has got me thinking on the genuineness of the exhaust :O

Sorry buddy but brand new "genuine" REMUS in 3.2k is not possible. I think what you have is a Taiwan/Chinese/Indian made exhaust with a fake Remus "if " written on it.

But the price for an exhaust is right, but its so not Remus, A genuine Remus looks different as well, the built quality etc.

Meet M4UGR8 on this forum some day to have a look for how genuine remus looks like.

Let me make it clear, i have been with the delhi tuning scene for 3yrs now. I have seen most of these people grow and sell. Im so sure 90% of them have NO knowledge of what they are selling. They are just business men and traders

So just beware and be sure of what you buy and cross check of what you purchase and pay for. There are endless stories of how people new to such things are cheated.

Just to cross check ask mr.grover the model name/number for the exhust.

After cross-checking from Remus Website, I could not find any exhaust of the same type. But Mr. Grover was persistent that he does not stock Chinese/fake parts.
Will call him up and confirm, thanks :(

wind splitter are you talking about the cracks visible in the first picture ? I guess the cracks could be filled with some kind of welding. Which part touches the ground, is it the pipe which has the exhaust manifold ?

There we go, Pavan I have gone through your post of restoring/rebuilding your M800 and just loved it. I would need you guys help in fixing my M800 problems. Will be posting my car pics today.

Please help me to get rid of the leaf spring and to install Multi link coil suspension on my car (higher priority), let me know how much fortune needs to spent on this mod.

Love your car looks NEAT.

Hi pavan ,the headers look great.Seems your cars have alloys on it.My 800's got them too and a couple of my mechanics were of the opinion that alloys cause the suspension and wheel bearings to wear out faster.Have you noticed any issues with the same after you installed the alloys?

thanks

As Mine is a type 3 800, The Exhaust was not fitting straight. so we had to bend the pipe towards the left side, and then attach it, so basically its not visible from outside.
You'll get the clear idea when I post the pics.
Hi Bumble Beast, the only reason you had to bend the pipe is because its a Type 2 800. The Type 3 800 has a straight run through pipe.

@Pavan:
The headers are very well built. I like the finishing of the headers, can you please inform me of the cost, and where you got it done?

M-800 is a fun car and adapts fast to any modifications, and that too without any major side effects.

It costs around 12K for the overall work. Too pricey i know, but works wonders.

No Sumeeth, 13 inchers will cause lot of troubles, but a stock replacement 12 inch alloys will just suit good.

My headers are custom made by Raj Hingorani's boys at Rs.8500/-, its a 3:2:1 setup, works fine, have been running them since 3 yrs with an avg FE of 16.5 kmpl

very simple buddy.

Buy the Maruti Suzuki emblem from the SX4, those come with BIGGER font SUZUKI , cut out the S U Z U K I letters and place them 6" apart on the hatch.

One guy has transplanted the 800cc enging with the Zen engine, that car is a highly IMPRACTICAL and TROUBLED car i've ever seen.
