The Maruti 800 Mod Thread

HAs anyone used Esteem Brakes on Maruti 800.I am asking this as Zen Petrol and 800 brakes are same and as people swapped Esteem brakes on to Zen this should be possible for M800 also except the bigger booster.

I am not sure but when i went to JC road they were referring it to as "PIONEER ATENNA".. it costed me around Rs350 becareful these ppl there would charge around Rs650 as well but 350 is the right price..

Here in bangalore it costed me Rs300.

is it possible to reduce the height of gear stick and add an after market gear knob!!
i think it will make gear shifting more sleek..do give opinions!

If so how much does he charge? and where is he located?

^ hes located in CP, He doesnt know the address but he remembers the place. So maybe you two can tie up some time to meet and go check Kaka out.

@noidaboy : i am already using the 5 Speed Maruti 800 booster in my 95 model 800.The brakes much better then they were without it.
However upgrading to Esteem type II will be so much better and i believe it will a under 7K job.

I am thinking of putting my exhaust some what like in the pic. Any suggestions?

Also would like to know the address or phone no. of a Well informed or Reputed Modding shop in Delhi.

Go down to Autopsyche or, alternatively, contact AutoMech Exhausts (Mumbai HO). I believe they have an installer in Delhi. You can find their contact information in our Tuner Database
