The workshop manual backs up what TURBOSAM was saying. Now can someone clear up a few things:

1. Why does Fiat print different things in the owners manual and the workshop manual?

2. Where is this Grande Punto with a 1.6 litre engine and 272+ bhp?

thanks!!

i have handed over the required pages to moral fiber,
they will reveal all the basic info @ the engine timing, and finish the debate about the possibility of 0 deg valve opration!
there is much more to autombile engineering than we can claim/ rule out outrightly.
it applies to everyone including me too ,
i would love to read better words in this fourm <than, be a man etc. >
i can only hope ,
no offence intended
thanks
yes and in the due cource ill post all the req documents supporting my statements ... so chill ....
thanks

you are going to fail the PUC test with the cat deleted. but for power gains not only the cat but the entire exhaust needs to be redone , calculations keep in mind back pressure to flow.i presume the other aspects of the chain ie the intake and head port/polish also included in the equation.
