Thanks.
Go ahead. This upsize was not random but involved a lot of thinking in terms of body touching etc etc.

No. They do not touch anywhere, even when loaded. Be careful of the profile as this is the best mix of ride comfort and handling

Gogi, get a GOOD end-can if you want a more throatier sound....though NOT necessarily louder.

Apexi
Remus
Borla
Suzukisport.com
HKS

These guys make superb end-cans for your car.

If you are recommending the same end can from your car then trust me its louder and throatier for Gogi need not mean RX100 kind of an exhaust note

kiran, he's got a magnaflow end can.. which is not to either of our liking (read RX100 type sound ).. The brands he's mentioned in the post are great.. Remus exhaust notes are really nice! and so are borla..

195/60/14 is a wrong upsize for the Swift. Go for 195/65/14 and your car will be better in comfort.

Thanks!
Any suggestions for shock change, as the tyres are 7000km old?

Do you really want to play with a brand new car?

I agree with BUSA. Its a wrong upsize. My friend's car has the same size, and its much more bumpy compared to a stock Swift.

Getting a Cam for a Cam Job of a swift is one of the most tedious processes in the world. Two days ago I decided to get a Hot cam for my Swift (285 profile) but none are available and if they are (which they were not) they are ulteriorly expensive and not worth the money IMHO. ( No wise cracks from you Nitrous or Technocrat)
so being the guy I am (stingy to the core) I decided to get my own cam and send it to Piper UK to get it worked upon and save a few hard earned buck in the process. Searched high and low for a swift cam but no one had it. Ordered it from the dealership (Ratan Motors, who promptly ordered it for me and delivered it within 24 hours)
The cost...astronomical. I dont know If i paid a bomb but i was expecting it to be half the price it came for, anyway I still got the delivery. Next, Im sending it via someone to Piper UK to get it profiled and will be back with me in the last week of Dec. Savings, the courier cost which is in itself is in excess of 6K.
More when i get the cam. Then the standalone....... (im already grinning) Meanwhile Im looking for a stage -II clutch for my car. Any help will be appreciated.

V16, could'nt you have sourced a Esteem 16v ka camshaft? It may not be the exact same as Swift but its going to be profiled anyway, and should be available in junkyards.

What are the specs you have asked for?
