thats a very nice run there. Definitely the speedo rushes as soon as the boost hits in.

Is that your engine check light on?

Yup. that happens every time you connect/disconnect the Wide Band. No issues there

I am still waiting for more details of the turbo setup you have and your review as you have driven it for sometime now.

Loooong time since update.
Thats because I have been quite busy traveling in and out of the city and what not.
Also had some teething problems with the car which could not be attended to due to my absence from the city.
No excuses now.
The first problem was that the boost could not be set below 12psi.....yes thats dangerous with all stock internals so till that was figured out, the car was not driven and whenever it was, it was at 0 boost. Finally got the faulty waste gate problem sorted out.
Got all the other petty problems resolved whenever I did get the time.
Finally I can say its done. The cars passed its test with flying colors.
I was disheartened at first but through time and lots of patience, it has been finally, almost done. Touch-Wood!!
I have been running the car over the past few weeks at different stages;viz;
12psi boost---scary but crazy
0 boost-------limp
Now shes running at 5-6 psi boost....awesome.
I like the boost, the way she handles, the awesome pep.
Not taking sadistic pleasure as yet trying to out run more expensive and exclusive machines at the traffic light. Ill save that fro later, when fully done up.
I am still testing it as have not had my car for so long a stretch of time, without discovering something needed to be attended to or there was something amiss.
As its still in its test stage i will refrain from posting a drive report.
That will be done with consumption figures.
Lets just say that the dyno results have been very very encouraging and if compared to similar cars around the country with similar mods...probably The MOST encouraging.
After fine tuning by Kartik (Race Dynamics) it should be a real Kick-Backside drive and..... i guess ill talk when its done!
The turbo spools at around the 3000 mark and within the next 500-600rpm the boost meter registers a reading. From here on its a pure adrenalin rush much to the confused faces of the people driving much more powerful and expensive cars.

The Car-----front mesh needs to be painted black to give it a sleeper look. Could not avoid getting the Fogs out. Will figure a way to put them back in somehow.

Throughout, a lot of people have been of great help.
I would not be able to get this done without their help, able guidance and support.
Karan, for tuning the car and setting it up...again and again
Viper aka Jiggy for being there whenever I needed him for advice and for accompanying me to the various places, far and near to get things sorted out.
Psycho aka Keshav for the endless telephonic conversations we had re the car and the good advice.
Kartik for his ECU (still needs tweaking though- Kartik,...move to Bombay man!!)
and a lot of all others who all helped in their own sweet way. Thanks to all of you.
Expect something soon!!
