I was quoted 53K for CR70 on all windows of my BYD E6 along with mats for the first two rows. Is this the current going rate? Would there be differences in price from location to location or would it be the same across all 3M locations?

Is this thread closed ? I am looking for some recommendations for sunfilm. I installed a 3M from 3M Pashan Pune but I absolutely disappointed with it's outcome. I experience zero heat block even after spending 20K. I wonder if the dealer put a duplicate one. 15 mins in sun and my rapid feels like a furnace.

Need advice for the film (Of course legally escapable) and the place it can be installed.

I need to know if 3M CR70 is worth the price. 3M Pune Chinchwad has quoted 13k just for the front windshield of Ecosport with 1 year warranty.
I feel it's too much costly compared to the Llumar (read some where in this forum it's around 7-8k)

Before applying the film, do insist on the installer showing you the actual figure of heat rejection such as infra red rejection. The transmission meter will show the properties of the film. Any responsible installer is required to show you the figures.

3M CR 70 comes in original, 1st copy,2nd copy etc. Original will reduce the heat by 50%, 1st copy around 25%, 2nd copy around 10-15%.
