nothing comes close to the classic E36 shape of the car and the stance of the car is amazing.

the grey colour suits the as the black wheels and smoked tailights bring out the contrast with the grey colour.

any shot of the engine bay?

Hi Abix,
Saw your car yesterday at Dhuala kuan crossing. I must say the car looks fabulous in person. great ride..
In the last pic (interior shot) what is the round knob thing in front of hand break. IIAC it should be ipod controller attached with HU.

take care,
Manu Chawla

Hey guys thanks a lot for the comments.

Parm: will post engine way shots soon, although its quite stock looking.

Manu: The round knob is actually the controller to the cars bluetooth kit.

Iron Wolf: Thank you, and my persistence paid off.

Problems with his car ????? I thought Autopsyche had "rebuilt" the engine, or atleast that is what was posted on the thread I thought that car was re-done bumper to bumper & Abix was totally happy for the way it looked (agreed) & the way it drove.. now what

Oh My God !! Another one ?????

Ive already ordered my remapped ECU.
You HAVE to use Speed 97 since the stock ECU itself demands 95 octane. Must be a High CR engine.

He can to a certain extent get away with using low octane fuel with a conservative fuel and ignition map. Ignition retard and fuel enrichment can to a certain extent take care of knock. But then he would lose out on power too.

Edit - Just remembered that an easier way of handling this ( in a semi permanent way ) would be to go in for a decompression head gasket.

It may be a good idea IMHO, to try running the car in the original state of tune for some time & see that there are no glitches.

The upgraded ECU can always be put in later, else the misbehaviour of the car may be attributed to the "new ECU"

Cheers
