shreyasma detail descriptions about your Zen's Suspension,Tires & Alloys, because i think it has more ground clearance than the stock one's & also enhances the overall look of the car.

Suspension: 1" spacers on all 4 sides
Alloys: Ion 13" alloys
Tyres: BS Potenza G3 175/60 R13

I have also blackened the lower most part of the bumpers and sides to give it a more high look. Looking at a K&N shortly (Yet to decide).

After all....I am loving the ride

Re done suspensions on my car

I had tried Rear Hard shocks of tokkico for 2 days and that was way to hard for the car, so my mechanic suggested that instead of stifffening the rear shocks use the existing setup and the spacer which is generally rubber we'll put in an aluminium one as i had the issue of the body touching the tyres when 3+ people sit in the car, got a new rack, pinion & column set and as for the front i got new gabriel shocks and got them made medium hard from a turner and got all bushings changed. and now the car handles very well, it takes holes like a big car i hardly can feel the bumps/jerks at all, i am indeed very happy, now next step would be goin in for a brace bar . its changed the handling of the car completely.

regards,
Zeeshan

Hi Guys,
Where can I find a whole bunch of 12" Alloys for my zen ?
Can some one suggest some good shops in Bangalore?
Any pics will also do.
The Maruti showroom @Bannerghatta road has only one type.
They are OK but I need more.

Thanks

Very neat looking zen shreyas. I love the alloys.

Guyz,

I am planning to get FFE for my zen 2003 vxi.

Shall I go for header -> expansion chamber -> muffler or

header -> side pipe.

Also, one of my friend speculates zen might not have an expansion chamber is that true?

Hi guys, it seems there are so many zen lovers like me, nice to be here. I have a 97 zen got it from an old man, with only 19k on it. and with in a year i did 20k on it and now it is around 40k. give me nice mileage around 16kmpl with ac and 20kmpl on highway without AC. i have done very little mods, like black pillers and alloys, on a white car, will soon post the pics of it.

My contribution zenners

A 2001 MPFI model run about 41K kms (I am the second owner), I have enjoyed every moment of driving this amazing car for last 4 years, a very realiable, comfortable and economical vehicle. FE is amazing in city she gives an average of 17.XX kms/ltr and on highways 20km/ltr (with A/C of course). I havent done any modifications, only that its previous owner has put some RALLI ART, WRC stickers on it (and excellently maintained - now its my turn to match it). I will wait for TBHP stickers to ad-on. Well, here goes the the pics!

Thanks for that buddy, I havent used any polish on it, and only done with regular (weekly, monthly) interior cleaning. And I always drive it with windows rolled up with A/C on, may be that helped a bit too to sustain.

Also to mention I have tried to follow the TBHP forum: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/owning...esthetics.html

I followed it about water usage, type of water (and avoided hard water), usage of clothes etc, am sure it might have helped.

And I havent left it under the sun for a long time, that could have also caused some damage to interiors.

Cheers

That's one amazing FE everyone will die for!
Seems like you are a sedate driver and never redline! LOL!
I am here complaining for the FE of 13 KMPL with A/C on!

P.S: I accelerate at every chance I get! (hush... it's not a zen anymore!)
