Personally i dont like like the way A pillar is connected to the roof. One of the picture reminds me of Swift Dzire. But overall you are doing a commendable job. . Looking forward to the completion of this project.

Thanks for the wishes.. and you didn't like the A pillar because there is none present there at the moment .

as i quoted we are building the car from the rear to the front. the A pillar will be worked upon by a denter as its going to be built in sheet metal and as of now the roof is just placed on the - whatever was left of the original cars pillar. Cheers!

@Konjaril, It's almost 1 am in the morning here on 09th Jan, 2012. Was reading through the entire posts in this thread and learned a to of technical aspects on the car design/development front. I was going page by page from the beginning not jumping over to the end expecting to see the final outcome. Expectations are high on the final product and wish you the very best to deliver what you envisioned as the final one. Hope you haven't got busy with the Merc job and got this thread tied up since Oct2011

Hi there everyone, i understand its been a long time there has been any updates on this thread. As mentioned earlier work was stopped for some time but has been resumed now and although slowly its going steadily.

Currently the A-pillar and front windscreen bracket work in sheet metal is going on.i am attaching a pic of the project in current state. It would be too minor a detail of work to be noticed in the pic though but one of the most important and yes sorry for the poor photo quality.

Hi there wild child. the wrapping up date for the project passed away a year ago now.. As i mentioned earlier we work on the car in our spare time hence a slow progression. Anyways the car we are building is to keep with us but Nigel has already prepared the molds for the body and can be replicated for anybody.

hi Shoeb, me too waiting with baited breath. for the rear tires we are juggling options between spacers or a wider rear axle.

A wider rear axle might improve the dynamics of the car, as opposed to spacers, that will just give the car a wider look. Am I right?

Spot on suhaas. No changes in the plan.

Anyways a few more crappy pics. You can see the V8 resting in the massive engine bay. Again, the detail of the work done on the car is too minimalistic to be noticed on the whole car. But as you know "God is in details."
