mind blowing man, it does resemble a victor vauxhall from front now sanjeev, anyway where are the flared out wheel arches u had built in fiber glass??

Also More front view of the car please

p.s- you could have used a more retro mirror (round and chrome) on the car rather than the plastic one. overall great effort!! three cheers!

Hey Sanjeev,
Looks good!!!!
To add to what Konjaril said, the “Chrome Mirrors” would have been a sure hit with the retro look. You can fit the Ambassador Nova Chrome Mirrors (I have used them) and they are available off the shelf without any fabrication or hassles in fitting it to the door.
Ensure good insulation of the ceiling else you will bake inside and the A/C will not be effective with a black roof. Also the custom chrome trim around the roof looks good and adds contour.
Looks like you also have a mascot/hood ornament. Intrigued to know what it is since the picture is not clear. Mud flaps (TT Type) on the wheels arch will also help preventing the side panels from aberration from dirt flying off the tyres.
I am sure you have a lot of finishing touches to go.
Cheers,
miyer

Thanks Miyer and Konjaril.

The chrome bullet mirrors were actually bought by me and was lost in shipment from Qatar to India by sea freight. So i changed the idea to power mirrors and those mirrors are actually from a 2008 Nissan Tiida. However, a chrome trim for those mirrors are under way and i hope it will look better.

Miyer, for the heat insulation of the roofing, do you have any suggestions for the material to be used?

The following are some of the pending jobs:

The front lights has to be changed with a new one (already made)
and they will be smoked lights with CFL angel eyes.

The front grills are also to be changed with the billet type as shown before.

The SS Free flow exhaust has been fixed, but fixing the K&N Cold air intake is still pending.

The interior is almost completed except for some chrome trims on the dash and the console.

All the pending works as above will be done only after i reach India and i will be immediately posting some good quality pictures of the interior and exterior within 10 days from now.

The back Bumpers will be covered with chromed MS or with SS flashing. But, this will be done later only.

Ok Good.
Since you are in Qatar you will get to sample a wide variety of insulation material and also get Dynamat off the shelf.
Ensure the intake pipe and filter is directed away from the heat sources. It surely makes a big difference to be burning cool air.
Great and look forward to see the pic. You didn’t mention about the hood ornament.
Ok Good.
Could you solve the steering hub problem?

Ok Miyer, i will check the insulation material here.
The hood ornament is actually an emblem and i will post some close up photos later.
Yes, the steering hub problem is solved-I had provided a new milling on the Hub and it's perfect now.

Hi,

Please find the final Photos of the car.

The project is complete and i had driven the car for one whole month. I had observed a difference in the power with the Cold air intake and the free flow exhaust but......... not to my complete satisfaction. Any way i will be trying for an engine swap later !!

Also the smoked head lamps were not giving a proper focus and i was forced to fix two fog lamps which according to me doesn't suit the car.

I now wait for you guys to have your comments! Positive Criticisms are welcome!

@ Sanjeev, the car looks looks cool and neat. I liked the colour combination, interior as well as exterior.

IMO the alloys don't suit the car. By the way can we have bigger pictures please?

The car looks very nice, but IMHO the wheels don't go well with it. Neither does the front bumper. Also, if possible, try to make the head & tail-lights & their frames look more refined.

Fantastic! She looks wonderful! Although I'd like to give you some suggestions.

- The wheels don't really go with the car. Why don't you try experimenting with them in case you're unhappy as well. Think along the lines of powder-coating and chroming.

- The black strip that runs across the side profile looks great! But unfortunately, what's around it, doesn't look very inspiring. The front lights look a bit crude. Why don't you try a different cluster?

- The front bumper seems wrong. I don't know what it is, but it looks a little off. Why don't you reduce the width by a margin?

- I was looking forward to see the traditional front 'muscle-car' bench instead of full-on bucket-seats. But it's not a problem

Great job all round! Wish you plenty of years and miles with her!

a good work indeed. But in additon to Suhaas307's suggestions: Please remove those hanging fog lamps on front bumper..you may get the front bumper fabricated to fit in a round fog lapms but these hanging ones are a complete No No

I know if you open yourself to suggestions, you may have to redo the whole care again :-) but just 2cents form me..

A good work in any case...congrats

Sanjeev,
I must say a lot of work has gone into this and sure that an equal amount of money. Sort out the small little stuff and you will have a brilliant car.
