Re: My Zen LXi wth some Basic Mods

hi guys,

my car is showing Oil sign,it keeps on flashing in between? Some time it never turns up..It blinks sometime.

I read some where it is Oil pressure issue, what exactly is it ? Or is it related to brake oil ? Please suggest !

Re: My Zen LXi wth some Basic Mods

Hello friends
guess who's back..eh

After spending a long due weekend tried to get my car run normal.

Yesterday changed the following:

1. Hydraulic Power Rack & Pinion Steering Gear Assembly (was causing major issues, and those weird noises from the steering)
2. a head light + fog lights
3. car (ICE) wiring kit

Re: My Zen LXi wth some Basic Mods

There is a good news and a bad news ::

Bad news

An idiot doctor hit the car with his awful esteem. The car was parked when this mental psycho hit it while reversing his car.

Visited MASS at Naraina, the technician quoted 12k for door change with paint. Thinking to get it repaired outside.

Good news

Bought an i10 ERA CNG

Hi Thanks, yes i got it repaired from a Denter settled at a petrol pump in south delhi..

A friend had repaired his civic door from this guy, the outcome was greatt..

My running board was damaged too, the cost break up was
1. 2k for door (dent and paint),
2. 1.5k for running board (dent and paint),&
3. 500 Rs for door handle and scissor change.

Posting a few day light pics and a pic after car wash.

psst: car painted prior to my zen was an A4 and a civic was in queue.

Re: My Zen LXi wth some Basic Mods

hi guys !!

there is an issue with my zen's steering.

It starts behaving strange while I apply brakes..It sorta vibrates and car moves towards left side.

I have checked the following:
1. Alignment - Is ok
2. Steering rod - was changed a few hundred kms back
3. tires - good amount of rubber is still available

what could be the possible reason for this ?

Hi Sherlocked

The car has completed 122000 + Kms
I make sure that the engine oil, oil filter, air filter and tire alignment is done on every 5k kms completion

So spending around Rs 2k per 5k kms..(includes car washing on same intervals)..
