No, Naveen. Those pilot lamps are white/bluish color, so i did not like it.

Re: New addition to my garage, the new CBR250r

You should have given Halonix +60 60/55 a try, its a Xenon bulb and emits similar whitish light. Costs ~100 or so.

Is the stock bulb 35W?

Just ask for Philips Xtreme vision 60/55 H4.
I bought it from chawla motors. After minerava circle towards town hall, first signal take a left and then left on the third cross. Right hand side you can find Chawla motors. You also get this in A.K Traders on the same lane.

There is the standard Halonix bulb which is normal yellow light and there is +60 Xenon which gives you a whitish light. It isn't pure white light.

If you want to give it a try, its available at a shop on A.M Road, close to vijaydeep. Shop is in a basement but he has a Halonix board on the building.

Update - Odo reading 9504 Kms

Last weekend did a 600 kms overnight stay with other tbhpians. Bike performed very well without any issues. Also did around 50 kms to-fro dirt riding also.
Now i can hear some squeaking noise in the front shocks when i go over potholes, need to get it checked.
Also tail light stopped working on the return journey. Haven't checked what is the problem, could be a blown out bulb.

Santosh,
Would it be from the actual suspension or the Steering Stem where you have the cone set making the noise? Also did you give a proper pressure wash to ascertain no dirt is causing the issue?

Good to know that you clocked 35KMPL at the end of day. Should say very good mileage considering the hi-speeds and broken roads it had to endure.

Nope, not given it a pressure wash still. Could be steering stem or even dirt, need to check.

Was little surprised to get 35 kmpl, even after high revving and running in lower gears for most of the last 40-50 kms

Hmmm, Shall follow your thread as the build quality of Honda on CBR has been good. Will be surprised if there could be anything going kaput for the roads that we did.

Yep 35 was a surpriser for me, was expecting somewhere around 30-32.
Presume Niranjan also managed some decent mileage?

Mahesh, I didn't do a proper calculation but roughly I think I got around 32. I think the last stretch where Aditya and me went mostly full throttle would have made a difference.

Re: New addition to my garage, the new CBR250r

Got the tail bulb changed. Found that the squeaking noise had disappeared from morning, So will wait for some more days to get it checked.

Thought only Tata Safari was the self healer appears that CBR is also vying for the same tag eh!!
But on the contrary do give it a thorough eye for any anomalies

Odo Reading - 10014 Kms

After the tbhp chickmangalur trip, found the fairing had become little loose and also found little bit of tappet noise. Left the bike for service.
Found the "Ex" Shims had to be replaced. Again bike back to normal smoothness.

Completed 10k
New addition to my garage, the new CBR250r-img_2158.jpg

New addition to the bike. Locally made Radiator Guard. Costed INR 1500

Santosh,
Congratulations on completing the 10K mark with minimal fuss/niggles. Wishing you many more miles of peaceful rides. Would it be natural for the shims to be replaced within 10K?

The Radiator Guard seems to be a very good fit and for the money spent its paisa vasool. Was this fabricated by your friend or readily available off the shelf?

Humble Request: Can you please take off the white sticker? Looks like an eye sore?
