At first glance, I thought it is VW Amarok in the pic! Resembles a lot. Both Amarok and this concept look great and very civilized compared to many other pick ups.

They call it the Oroch concept. Came across this today morning in IndianAutosBlog. Looks great.

"Amarok" n "Oroch" - Both sounds "rock"! To give a name that gives a tough impression I guess. They do look tough and the names suit too.

Earlier the clutch was quite heavy. With this replacement, it has now become quite manageable. During the service, I have mentioned this problem based on which the Service Adviser informed that this is being offered as replacement from Renault itself under warranty.

I know they replace the clutch pedal assembly which has additional spring to counter the clutch heaviness to make it feel lighter.
Yes this is for 110 ps duster.

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

Grrr.....Why cant they make this design for Duster (atleast some) when it was designed. Moreover, Terrano inspired the pickup designer a lot. It seems an R-Cam on the C pillar... and no display inside the cabin...?

I got it checked today at the dealership and it seems to be working fine now. The rear hatch door is bent slightly and is not closing properly. I have frontal pic which will be uploaded soon.
The costs are simply too high and even a minor body work could easily cost 5 digit figures. I would highly advice any prospective buyers to get Zero dip insurance for this car. Saw one less than 3 month old duster at dealership which was declared total loss :(
First of all... Sorry for yr misfortune !!!!
But did you not have those front and rear crash guard railings installed that we see so commonly on SUVs ? If you did ... Then it says very poorly about their usefulness !!!

No. I did not have crash guards installed. Would have been another waste if I did.

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

Man that is some serious damage. I can't imagine the speed with which the car behind rear ended you to have been able to move a big vehicle like Duster with so much force that even its front end deformed to this extent.

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

My Fusion also got rear ended, on a Highway trip, along with similar damage to the front. The thing happened at a traffic signal when all cars were coming to a halt. Total repair bill came out to around Rs. 32,000. Possibly could have got it done cheaper but the chap was near my house so I preferred him.

All cars were doing 70-80kmph when the vehicle in front applied brakes. I was well behind Innova and could still see his rear tyres when I stopped. The Dzire behind me did not brake at all and hit me at the same speed.

I was expecting greater damage to the rear but the only damage was the rear bumper losing some paint and plastic clips on the left side coming out + a slight dent on the rear hatch.

Well looks good as a render, but in real, I ll look pathetic for the simple reason the duster does not have the wheel base which is long enough to accommodate the front and rear doors along with a flat bed and a tail gate behind. The picture is well just a picture. Haven't we seen the spy pics of the duster pickup? Looks plain ugly.

Please check the threads on crash-guards. You can do a search for crash guard / bull bar (search in thread titles.
