A new e2o battery from Mahindra ASC should cost you somewhere around INR 4 lac. Please get in touch with Sireesh Auto, Singasandra branch for accurate figures and timelines.

Is e2o plus also discontinued now or still available? It is still shown in Mahindra's website https://www.mahindraelectric.com/vehicles/e2oplus/ but some reports say it is discontinued in 2019.

Re: Mahindra Reva e2o : Official Review

Have a 2015 e2o which has worked great for me for 8+ years. My charger recently got busted though. Any pointers on where I can get a replacement or repairs?
The Singasandra branch has new chargers for 6500, albeit its in the new industrial socket and not my regular 15 AMP plug which I am using currently.

Mine has been busted a few times....I have always purchased new one and in the last few years have been using it with a voltage stabliser as well.

Re: Mahindra Reva e2o : Official Review

Thanks. Any pointers on where to get the industrial converter to normal 15amp?
Or maybe install the industrial plug-point directly

Santa

Re: Mahindra Reva e2o : Official Review

My E2O's batteries reached their end of life.
How do I responsibly dispose of its batteries?

Re: Mahindra Reva e2o : Official Review

I have an E2O I bought back in 2014 and someone offered to buy it. I am sure the buyer isn’t keen on replacing the old batteries with original OEM ones.

What are GoI policies for replacement, ethical disposal?
Any pointers would be appreciated.

I haven’t seen any specific GoI directive around EV battery disposal. Have you contacted Mahindra yet to understand what can they do? With a renewed push towards EVs, they must have some process in place to help EV customers with battery replacement. E2O being an old discontinued model, I wouldn’t expect much, but still, worth a shot.

This is good to know.

Before posting here I made sure I did that. But Mahindra helpline is a circuitous passing-the-parcel game with my call being transferred from one point to another, one helpline number to another. All seemed clueless.

So is voiding the warranty the only risk associated with a 3rd party battery swap?

No clear policy has been formulated yet, but some of the corporate vehicle scrapping & recycling units like Mahindra MSTC, Maruti Suzuki Toyotsu (MSTI) or Cero (https://cerorecycling.com) should be able to help.
