Always seeing such terrible numbers mars the experience.
There is a knob, which you can use to toggle across different display options. There is an option which doesnot show any of the statistics.

I had ordered some nice GFX mats from Amazon almost 2 weeks back and they never reached me until today. The delivery date initially kept getting postpone and thereafter kept showing out for delivery but since it was being delivered by DTDC, tracking the package was not that straight forward. Once it even said 'package lost'. Anyway, I called Amazon and cancelled the delivery yesterday. However, the mats landed up at my doorstep today afternoon. I had to deny delivery because Amazon had already processed my refund.

Now part 2 of the story.

After I saw Jimnylife's post, I went ahead (despite some inhibitions) and ordered these mats. Shivam was prompt to answer all questions and sent me the mats immediately. He also explained what was the issue with the other bhpian who had posted a negative review about his mats. I bought his explanation. Cost = INR 2500 + INR 340 (porter charges). He agreed to take 50% and remaining later once I am satisfied. I received the mats - looked good overall. Transferred the balance 50% (full payment is made).

Then he asks me to send pictures. This is when I realise the mats are far from perfect. Whenever I slide the front seats all the way back, the rear mats get stuck and come off completely. Looks like a design flaw to me. I tried everything but could not position the mats in a way that they dont get stuck when you slide the seats back. Even the slightest movement in the front seat is dislodging the rear mats.

Now, Shivam has asked me to send a video in the morning which I will do. And he has assured me that he will resolve the problem. So lets see. Will keep you all posted.

Dear Jimnylife - do check if you have the same problem. Slide your front seat all the way back. I hope I am doing something wrong and its not a design issue. But I have tried everything and the issue persists.

Having suffered with poor quality of mats being sold by Shivam Goel and also very poor customer service I once again would strongly recommend to refrain buying from this guy. He charged me 700 rupees along with mat cost of 2200 to send it to Bangalore. When he agreed for exchange he was asking me to send the old mats for which I had to again spend 700 rupees. So for a mat for 2200, I had to shell out of 1400 rupees just for delivery and exchange

So I have disposed those mats as I felt the quality of mats provided by Maruti was way better and only issue being it doesn't fill the full area.
Wish I could have ordered something better from Amazon. At least my money and peace of mind would have been taken care.

My strong advise again - Even though these mats looks good in the pics, don't get fooled. The quality, fit & finish and the customer service by this guy is pathetic

I think that one is for the display in the instrument cluster. I have already set it to display range.
I need to remove from the ICE display, its always there on the left side

For mats, paraoh does have mats for Jimny, though not shown on the website.
I already got OEM before they launched, hence couldn't get them.
Paraoh mats have been consistently high quality for other cars, would expect the same for Jimny.
I have bought multiple paraoh mats from akshay ( bangalore 9740484848) and have always been satisfied, latest being for city hybrid.

Dear Jimny Owners from Bangalore,

Could you please let me know where I could get the Armrest customized for Jimny with cup-holder in namma Ooru?

Any website suggestions are also welcome, please!

Nexa all weather mats are very good. They are small hence it is easy to pull them out and dust the muck quickly. In case of these 3D-7D mats, its difficult to pull the mat out as they are snug fit.

Re: Maruti Jimny Review

Planning to take delivery of Jimny Alpha AT, in a day or two. Any suggestions for a good reliable dashcam which can record both front and back? I do not need the parking feature.

Mine has this on both sides. Service team don’t have any idea on this. I have asked them to clean it once and I will observe and report during 2nd free service.

Did you got it checked?

Re: Maruti Jimny Review

Maruti Suzuki. If you guys read Team BHP posts then it's for you !

I have never criticized the Jimny in the online world ever. Rather I have defended it in multiple youtube comments sections. I stood with the Jimny even before I purchased it myself.

But today I must say that being a miser has its limits. The word 'makkhi choos' might be befitting here.

I am talking about the cost cutting in terms of the omission of the rear defogger wire covers in the Jimny.

The two itsy-bitsy plastic bits that we Jimny owners are forced to buy from the market to cover the rear wind shield defogger wire connectors is an example of an automotive blasphemy that Maruti Suzuki has committed in the recent times.

People who have spent anywhere between 12 to 17 lakhs must feel the pinch hard enough when they have to buy those covers as an aftermarket fitment for a hefty price. Why on earth would Maruti do such a thing ?? Either design the rear windshield in such a way that those connectors are not visible or else provide a suitable cover for them. Why leave them just like that??

The extra 1k that I spent just for covering up Maruti's callousness made me rant here.
Please see the pics for your satisfaction.

Yes, I got it checked. They said they are seeing it for the frist time. As per their technical team it's a normal overflow which I don't buy. They have also raised a ticket with Maruti's factory team and I am hoping to hear something from that end.

Drive on,

Certainly high quality workmanship. Looks great now. But my concern is whether taking the steering wheel off on a new car invites alignment issues ? Even if the fitment is off by a hairline; there is a chance of alignment being out. Might not be in your case but I have done this blunder on my Nano.

Re: Maruti Jimny Review

What should be the good ballpark for 2023 base AT driven 30,000 Km? Keeping in mind there was around 4 lakh discount at that time.

And what should I check throughly to ensure that car wasn't abused?
Thanks

If I remember correctly, there was never a 4 lakh discount in 2023. The highest 3.5-3.8L 3-4 months back with some probably getting close to 4L. How much is being quoted ?

Some dealers were offering discounts above Maruti's 3.8L discount.

I am being quoted 9.5L for the car.
