Super Sunday

Phew!! What a turn around it was. It started like a lazy sunday morning. I was one of the first few to arrive. It was just a couple of Fiats initially that were on time. A hour later, one by one the Fiats started arriving. It was quite a scene for the members as well of curious onlookers. Most passer by's would have felt nostalgic. It would have surely invoked their good old sweet memories of this car. It was a great event where all the old club members sync'ed up with the new members. Some of us had never seen such old Fiat's that were so passionately meant. Lot of information and contact information was exchaned and also the club recorded the contacts of the new members.

This is surely the start of a new beginning. The next meet or probably a Rally would attract more folk and we may end up seeing more and more Fiat enthusiasts.

Long live FIAT!!!

Great show guys - some superb cars indeed. Wish you all the best for the coming years, may your tribe increase.
I particularly like the 56/57 dukkar. Any more detailed pictures of that car are welcome.

Fiat 1100 Club-Bangalore Meet

We Fiat Club guys had a lovely Fiatful day! Few people having classics did not turn up but anyways an awesome show.
Thanks to some Top Brass Police officials who gave us good security as they felt Fiat Clubs' might also be on the Terror Hit List.

Yup Vijay did come!! He was the one who brought the black Select owned by his mechanic. His car might take 6 more months to complete.

Manish (manishalive) also came. His Select will be in town by next weekend.

BTW Tonrag was also supposed to come but he did not as he was not in Blore.

This is a 1100 TV.No there are'nt any in india. But again who knows.

The Dukkar is superb, with the original hubcaps, acrylic wind deflectors et al. All the other cars look simply awesome. So does the lovely Bangalore weather. Cheers Bangalore Fiat-ites and to many such gatherings.

Maybe someday we will drive down to Banglore with our classics and catch up with our Banglore brothers. What say FCCCI Mumbai.
