No sir,

This MG was parked in the Windsor Manor underground parking lot for the last 15 years.

Poor thing has seen daylight only after so many years.

About the Buick thing, i'll talk about it some time later

Some updates.

Shoddy,shoddy,shoddy... the previous workmanship has been the worst ever seen by me so far.

yes the Wolseley did yeoman service for years as the favoured Brit Police car. I think it was replaced by the Rover series with souped up engines. very sad to see the condition of this at the moment - hope he is able to restore it to its former glory soon!

I think the grille monogram lights up. It used to light up in later models like the 'Ten'. In fact, Wollys were very often ideal chase vehicles for the Police, and the lit emblem used to "strike terror in the hearts of getaway criminals" according to a British motoring journal..

Yes indeed, it will be restored, but ORIGINAL ????

The owner wants this car to be more of a show car than being original.

While i am trying to get this car close to ORIGINALITY and do up like a show car as the owners request.

First of its kind restoration for me.

Lots and lots of metal replaced all over the car, body tapping 60% done.

Some pics.

Some more updates after some MORE and MORE and Much MORE metal were replaced.

Found something extreemely interesting on the centre pillar, What was closed off with metal paste was some kind of turn signal fitment. I am now going to retain this.

Some pics.

Wow Pavan, the car has had trafficators in the past... Do try to get them, they'll work wonders for the cars originality / status !!

The wolsely 6/90 was indeed used as a Police car by the London Police in the late 50's. I dont think this is a 6/90.

However Rovers were never used as Police cars, mostly always used as state cars for Prime Ministers and other members of the British Govt.

These Trafficators thing is very intresting. Would have been a wonderful thing if the present day cars could include a few of such features!! Imagine seeing a guy take a turn and the trafficator sticks out!!

Though they come with their own limitations in the bumber to bumber traffic; however if it can be reatined on this car, it woiuld be a great value add!!

Searching high and low for those trafficators, not found one good set

We have now completed the tinkering process.

This is the period wherein the car will undergo some cosmetic modifications. Very unusual , but since the owner needs it to have "SHOW CAR LOOK" i am working only on adding few BLING lights here and there, and few extra chrome trims.

and after a loooong wait, many visits and phone calls, got the radiator overhauled.

Now we are in the process of re-designing the car, this should be one of the most un-usual restoration i am doing. Adding some lights to give a different and radical change in the car design.

Pics of the front end being worked.
