It was a long weekend, so you better not ask
I did not go out on Saturday but Sunday second half onwards it was, I was there till Tuesday so I did most of the sight seeing, Sunday second half and Monday.

Not exactly an Ooty related response.
I went to Masinagudi for a vacation between 3-5 May.
Cops were stationed at Masinagudi town entry checking vehicles going towards Masinagudi & Ooty for - TN epass & standard vehicle documents*. Those who did not have epass were made to book online on-the-spot. This led to long queue of vehicles causing unexpected delays.

*I saw several cars getting fined for lack of insurance and/or PUC documents.

Good point, I had the Nilgiris EPass so I was let go without any time waste, but they were stopping all the cars towards Ooty, I believe they also sent some cars back, not sure what document was missing with those

Any recent travel/trips to Connoor by any members? Needed some information on the road conditions on both the Masinagudi route and the Gudalur route.

How is the road conditions on both the routes - any bad road stretches due to potholes/rain etc?
