Can still be taken, for someone going to South Delhi/Dwaraka, compared to going to Manesar and taking NH8 back. Will also help avoid KherkiDaula toll. This stretch between Bhadshapur to Rajeev Chowk is only about 4-5 kms and hence should be manageable compared to KherkiDaula toll.

I am planning to take Hyd-Nagpur-Seoul-Sagar-Agra-Delhi route on coming weekend.
This is the first time I am going for such long trip, anything to take care in general. Planning for 2 days but can extend it to 3 days as well if I don't feel comfortable.

If I start at 5AM, how much time does it take till Sagar, Google Map is showing 16 hrs and 9hrs till Nagpur, but responses here shows 6-7 hrs till Nagpur. Can someone please confirm.

I did this route in August last year. I started at around 5:30 AM (from Sainikpuri) and checked into my hotel in Sagar by around 5:00 PM. We just had a 30 min break in between. The roads were excellent then and we were not stopped anywhere for the vaccine certificate or RTPCR test results.

Being Covid times and a child onboard, we had stocked a lot of food and drinks with us in the car. That probably helped us minimise the time to a certain extent.

I am planning a trip mid-feb and thinking of covering the stretch without a night halt.
Any bad patches will slow us down as i am thinking of starting around 5am and reaching before dark.

Also, some recommendations for breakfast around Agra outskirts?

You will get bad patches after exiting Agra and near Gwalior on both the borders. Then inside MP when you move off NH 44 and move towards Bhopal the roads are real bad.
I got way too much traffic in MP.

Please do not go to Courtyard MoMo cafe in Agra. Breakfast buffet was real bad. However Natraj Sarovar Portico in Jhasi was good and clean. We had lunch there.

Also beware of speed cams on Yamuna Expressway. I got a challan @ 95 kmph .

Indeed it would be long to get to south korea and back [j/k]

On a more serious note, to avoid nagpur we went via butibori and enjoyed excellent poha at a highway petrol pump. Road near Seoni was almost totally broken.

I completed my journey from Hyderabad to Baghpat, UP on Sunday night.

Telangana side NH44 highway is super smooth, we easily cruised at 110-115 and got a speed challan at Adilabad Expected Speed limit was 40 km/hr, and I was clicked at 111 km/hr, for God sake, how can someone drive at 40km/hr on highway. What kind of non-sense is this?

Does anyone know how to get the speed limit of a particular section, I see every few mtrs there are signs of different speeds

Nevermind, I started at 4:50 AM from Kondapur, Hyderabad and reached 11 AM at Nagpur, only bio breaks taken till Nagpur by-pass.

From Nagpur to Seoni, some great roads come, specially in the middle of Pench National Park, beautiful curves too without any major inclination.

Reached our first destination of Day 1, Sagar, at 5:25 PM, checked into hotel and slept early.

Started next day at almost same time of 4:55 AM from Sagar and taken Yamuna Expressway and then Eastern Peripheral Expressway to reach Baghpat at 5 PM.

Thanks for your guidance. I was planning to take the below route as it looked shorter. So I will not be coming to Yamuna Expressway & Jhansi, would you advise taking the longer route from Gurgaon?

Plus one for this. We stayed there overnight back in November during our Hyderabad-Yamuna Nagar trip. Clean hotel with good food and valet parking.

I stayed in Nataraj Sarovar Portico in Jhansi early this month. Easily accessible. The hotel is excellent and has ample parking space.

On the conditions of road, there is only a short patch around Pandharkhwada that has potholes. Near Hyderabad, there are a couple of diversions due to constructions of flyovers. Minus these, the entire route is superfine now.

YEW had speed limit of 75 kmph till yesterday. From today speed limit has been revised back to 100 kmph.

P.s. In addition to Speed guns, YEW also check speed via time taken b/w each toll, so it is advisable to respect speed limits.

From GGN, you can take WPH road after Sohna and continue to Jhansi via Mathura & then Agra Bypass route. This will avoid Delhi city traffic & Road after Badshapur on Sohna road are now in good condition. There might be some traffic at Vatika chowk due to ongoing elevated road work.

The shortest distance as per Google Maps is 1532 km. It predicts a driving distance of 27 hours!

Irrespective of the engine oil filled in your bike or octane rating of the fuel in your tank, this journey should be broken down either in parts of 2 or 3 days.

Don't risk it, riding fatigue can catch you unaware on two wheels and increase your risk of being on the road many fold.

At best you could target something like Nagpur depending on the endurance your body can take. The machine can run 24 hours, you probably cannot.

Not worth it! A friend did this in his car during the pandemic when he didn't want to stay in a hotel - but they were in a car and were two drivers who took turns.
It's suicidal if you plan to do in a 2 wheeler as a lone rider.

Did a trip till Gwalior, 3 weeks back, from Gurgaon.

Took NH8-WEP-Palwal-Mathura-Agra bypass-Gwalior. About 330 kms. Started at 8 am from Gurgaon and reached Taj UKP, by 3.30 pm with two breaks - Breakfast at a dhabha after Mathura and lunch just before entering Gwalior.

NH8-WEP-Palwal-Mathura-Agra bypass - road is good and can do good speeds. Need to watchout for trucks changing lanes randomly in Palwal to Agra Bypass section. Even though 3 lanes (oneside), trucks tend to occupy almost all the lanes.

Agra Bypass - Gwalior highway entry - about 40 kms - helps avoiding maddening Agra city traffic. Two lanes - heavy truck traffic will slow you down, though the road is good with no other traffic.

Gwalior Highway entry - Morena - Gwalior - Good stretch with some random sections near the Chambal river area missing the top asphalt layer, when one has to be a bit watchful as these can unsettle at high speeds - 90+. From Agra bypass till Gwalior, truck traffic was too high throughout and will need a lot of zig zag navigation if one wants to keep up high average speeds.

On the return took a round about route from Gwalior to visit Bateshwar and joined back at Morena into NH. This roundabout route was completely through the interiors, but was beautifully laid and scenic with nil or very less traffic. Road from Morena to Gurgaon was as good as the onward journey lanes.
