Need suggestions for hotels enroute with clean toilets for women.
Assuming you are taking the highway to Kerala (i.e. via Salem), these are good pitstops with relatively clean restrooms:

1. Sree Saravana Bhavan, between Shoolagiri and Chinnar
2. Sree Saravana Bhavan, near Krishnagiri (on oppsite side of drive)
3. Sai Sangeet, Thoppur (opposite side)
4. Rice Bowl, Walayar

Most Adyar Anand Bhavan stops are not that great in terms of cleanliness.

The Palm Residency is on the Salem - Coimbatore highway and seems to be having good reviews.

Thanks Aiel. A couple of reviews about same manager on rudeness in behaviour made me concerned.

Booked in Gramd Estancia. Looks like decent reviews although expensive for an overnight stay.

Re: Hotels enroute Cochin-Bangalore

Had a change in plans to travel tomorrow 19th, but mistakenly booked an hour back with today's date. It appears to be an expensive mistake as the hotel may or may not agree for a change in date to tomorrow even though MMT customercare is helpful and trying to contact hotel.

Not sure how to merge with above. Apologies if I missed an option to do so.

Not exactly "between", but if you were to exit the highway at Neelambur and go into the road that leads to Coimbatore city, there are several hotels that fit all budgets (what with the Coimbatore airport being on that road).

During the pandemic I stayed at the Le Meridien there several times at a very decent discounted price. I have stayed in Gokulam Park also.

Re: Hotels enroute Cochin-Bangalore

Stayed in Grand Estancia while travelling to Bangalore and in Sri Saai Stay Inn while returning.

Grand Estancia.

1. Good, clean rooms, clean linen, bedding and nice lighting.
2. Many TV channels
3. Good covered parking space in the basement with extra wide entry/exit to basement. Valet parking available.
4. They've a nice, but expensive restaurant that serves veg and non veg food. Room service also available till 10:30pm
5. Bath/Hand towels, toiletries, comb, shower cap etc provided.
6. Small refrigerator, electric kettle and coffee/sugar/tea bags, 2 bottles of water provided.
7. Clean and modern bathroom with round the clock hot water.
8. Expensive at 3.5K plus for overnight stay; credit card offers/cashback not considered.
9. Welcome drink is a joke. About 25ml of mirinda.

Sri Saai Stay Inn

1. Very large room and king bed.
2. Only free channels on TV.
3. Sufficient open parking space infront of hotel.
4. Saravana Bhavan on ground floor in the same building has tasty veg food at reasonable price.
5. No towels, toiletries, drinking water provided. Just a plain simple room. Geyser available.
6. Option to book ac room at INR 1300 for 12 hours and at INR 1500 for 24 hours.
7. Pillow cover, blanket weren't clean. Found long hair on pillow. Looks like they had reversed the used side of pillow.
8. Had to kill a cockroach and few spiders in the room. There were spider webs in the corners. Lizards were talking at frequent intervals till about 2 am to add to the vehicle noises from outside road.
9. Bathroom wasn't clean. The health faucet was ugly, taps look too old and severely affected by hardwater deposits and probably rust too.
10. Payment by cash or to personal GPay account and no receipt given.

I guess both are not suitable if the intention is to only catch some sleep for a few hours enroute, but I would rather pay for cleanliness and hygiene if I've to choose.

Will not recommend Sri Saai Stay Inn because of points 7, 8, 9, 10. May be the owner has changed now since the reviews from 2015-2017 in this thread projects a different picture of this place.
