RedCat Racing is in India now. We can see Volcanos MT running around. Any idea are they are getting their Gasoline ones? Same distributors as HPI. Wont there be a conflict?

Bounty Hunter

Another Monster joins the stable of bodies I have. It was a tough one getting the masking done to match the curve of the stickers. But at the end it was worth the effort.

Definitely one of the most beautiful bodies I have painted. Enjoy folks.

I own three electric RC Cars. One Hummer , one Ferrari , One AMG Mercedes CLK DTM. All are 2WD. The Hummer cannot do any serious off roading. Its electric motor has been damaged due to my continuous usage. I think its the motor brush that is damaged. The RC Ferrari is pretty cheap. It has lots of power on its rear wheels but tyres have no grip and so that it has very poor handling. Out of the three RC cars I own, I love the Mercedes the most. It has independent suspension in the front. Rear suspension is not independent. It has a hidden antenna, LED lights up front, and the most superb thing- it works on two AA sized batteries and lasts for a lot of time. I use rechargeable ones. The handling, smoothness etc.. are in a league of its own. Its a 1:32 scale model of the original car. I love to use it and its not very expensive. I will post some pictures later.

CEN Racing factory racer, Pato Concha from Chile is in India. I had a wonderful phone chat with him a short while ago. Hopefully will be meeting him in Bangalore next week. Requested him to visit Chennai as well.

Will be in India for 5 weeks. He is ready to offer support with driving skills, tuning, race setup, race event organising etc.

You can see him here after winning the 1st and 2nd in CACH offroad Nitros series in Chile with his truggy and buggy (guy in CEN Tshirt) - Images from CEN racing forum

There is a race next week in Bangalore on November 1st, Sunday at the Pitstop RC track. I am planning to be there with my ST-1. Coming?

Check some action from that track on their opening day.

1/10 Nitro Truggy segment will see a new challenger..... Here comes the small brother of the Losi 8ight-T, 10-T.

Guess they want to grab the 1/10 scale like they did for the 1/8 class. Never before seen feature...... a remote electric start. As easy as starting your real car, no glow ignitor, pull start, roto start to work about. Just press a button on your spectrum DX3S Radio with real time telemetry to get started.... Downside? Price at $499

Losi: 1/10 TEN-T Truggy RTR: Losi (LOSB0126)

I got the ST-1 locally, Model Art for 24K (guess was a discounted price, was old stock). You have many online dealers selling at about $330, see if you can bring it thru your contacts. Decent truggy, not the best, but good for what you pay.

Update: Rotor Hobby of Chennai has become official dealer for Thunder Tiger in India. They stock many TT cars as well. ST-1 is not in stock. They deal with many other brands of Helis, Aircraft, Jets etc

Product Update -Traxxas Slash 4x4

The Market demanded it - The Traxxas Slash 4x4.

Traxxas-Slash 4x4

Major change is modular chassis. 9 nuts out and your entire drive, slipper clutch, diffs are accessible. The Chassis becomes 3 pieces. Will be easy to maintain.

Other regular expected things like brushless power, 2.4Ghz Radio etc (HPI are you listening?). But still lots of plastics to keep cost down.

I think I will consider electrics again.
