That Porsche painting is out of this world! Brilliant!!

I do pencil portraits - this is an old one, the only sketch I could find in my phone.

Thank you.
The pencil sketch looks really good. Have you used charcoal pencils for the hair?

I have also done some pencil sketches and will post them soon.

Cheers!

Thank you. Actually skills and patience are related. Put in the time and you'll do it better.

Thank you, skills & talents aside, you'd be surprised how much you could accomplish with patience & passion alone. I'd encourage you to try.

Thank you! Probably 3Bs or 4Bs as I hadn't yet begun to use charcoal by then. Btw, your paintings left me spellbound enough. I'm more than stoked to see your pencil sketches.

Here's another old one that I managed to get a copy of -

Good one, jailbird_fynix. Try charcoal pencils too. You'll get nice contrast. And dont forget to spray fixative on these drawings (especially if you're using charcoal pencils), to avoid smudges.

Here are some other works.
The Artworks thread! Paintings, sketches & drawings-img_3773.jpg
This one is an acrylic painting of my niece. (Size: 58X46 inches, excluding borders)

The Artworks thread! Paintings, sketches & drawings-img_7399.jpg
This one is a pencil sketch (A4 Size).
There are more in my collection, but all of them are the portraits of either my friends (friends of friends) or my family.

Great works. The drawings of Diya (with Flower Vase) and the cat looks so good. Are these toned paper?

I had used charcoal in my later sketches, but do not, presently, have any digital copy of the same with me. The second portrait (the one that I liked more) is simply amazing!!

I'd really appreciate it if you could advise on which fixatives to use and how to do so, as I've never tried this before.

This particular one was quite popular during the days of Orkut & early Facebook. For me, portraits based on religion and politics have always attracted the most publicity on social media. I think the reason for that is obvious.

Lovely drawings. Especially the Porsche 911R.

Here are two of my recent drawings. I felt posting automotive drawings would be appropriate for this post.

This is a digital sketch.

Love at first sight (Inspired by Andrew Mytro's artwork.)

I have a lot more car sketches. I'll post them sometime later.

I also post a lot my photos and sketches on my Instagramhttp://www.instagram.com/visibly.obscure.

Please do check it out if you find these interesting.

My idea of what a Toyota branded Suzuki hatch should have looked like The Artworks thread! Paintings, sketches & drawings-suzuki_toyotaconcept.jpeg

Could also be a Swift SPORT.

But I would never let anyone name it "Glanza"!
