Re: Your favourite song while driving

I mostly prefer to go according to playback singers, some great hits of K.K, Sonu Nigam and Shaan. English favorites are Boyzone, Blue, Bryan Adams & Backstreet boys. Love some of the Indian classical music tracks too, especially when driving in monsoons on highway trips. Just to relax the mind and enjoy the drive :-)

Re: Your favourite song while driving

I've been listening to a lot of Red Hot Chili Peppers while on the road recently and I sure was missing them for quite a while now.

Of the lot, I love The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie. Great song

Given the sheer array of genres on this thread, off late this has become my thread of choice to listen to songs off road (I mean at the desk or at home)

I generally take Trance, Dubstep for the long drive. Like this one specially for late night drives (real track starts from 1 minute marker):

For heavy traffic, I listen to Indian classical, to cool myself down

The "Driving Music " Thread

I'm a Music Freak ! Even play the guitar for a band , but thats just me ! I'm getting bored of the songs on my playlist . Some of them are classics and i love them , but sometimes all you need is change . Let's post our favorite "driving music" so everyone can have a wide variety of songs and not get bored ! Let me start with a few favourites :

1. M83 - Midnight City
2. James Blunt - High
3. The Fray - We Build then we break
4. Bryan Adams -Open Road
5. Foo Fighters - Best of You

[ Mainstream and Lesser Known songs all are welcome. And yes, i listen to more English songs than Hindi I just don't like Bollywood too much, they rarely come out with a good song nowadays, just my opinion]

Re: Your favourite song while driving

Pretty much any Md. Rafi song while driving.

My current favorite song: Kya Mausam Hai from the movie Doosra Aadmi. It suits a good peaceful drive.

Here is the link to it

Re: Your favourite song while driving

Nowadays in the rainy weather in Goa, I am listening to only ONE song while driving.
Its Aisa samaa na hota sung by Lataji from movie Zameen Aasmaan.
The best part is I don't generally like female solos, don't consider Lataji's voice as romantic as Ashaji and others but still bowled over completely by this particular song. So much so that almost listened it 1000 times in car, home and at night on headphones while surfing the net. Still can't get enough of it.
Can anyone tell a similar song of Lataji in which her voice sounds very romantic, fresh and young. I guess the credit goes to RDB.

Since you mentioned Ellie Goulding; Google Metrognome on YT ; he has some great electronic remixes which includes Lights that will blow your speakers off.

His Led Zeppelin remix is great too.

There's a Nicky Romero mix too, which is decent. But I like the original one best!
