Send a PM to Flyin Very Low.
He'll be able to very ably guide you on this. His car must be having something similar. It sort of forcefully brakes the wind from backside and is getting propelled so fast it is leaving the mother earth and travelling at some altitude in the atmosphere.
If I have not properly explained, kindly do the pardon to my goodself.

Break or Brake?

Brake: To stop or to slow down. Past tense is braked.

As a verb: To apply the pedal that stops/slows down your vehicle.

I hate people that brake suddenly.

As a noun: The pedal and the system that slows down and stops your car. In a car it is typically used in plural - because there are typically more than one brake in the car.

I applied the brakes/ She slammed on the brakes.
However note: He slammed the brake pedal. Since the pedal is singular.

Brakes is also used metaphorically to show the slowing down or stopping of a process.
She needs to put the brakes on her spending.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Break: A truly wonderful and versatile word with so many meanings. The past tense is broke and the past participle is broken. Let's begin.

To physically cause something to separate into pieces or parts.
You annoying man, I'm going to break your head into two! Watch out, don't break the glass. The rope will break with your weight. He fell and broke his leg. Let us break bread together.

Add down to break and it means to cry strongly with tears and deep emotion: She broke down when he told her that he had forgotten his penis at the office.

Add dance and you have a silly jerky dance type from the 80s

Break can also be used for change: I will have to break this Rs.1000/- note to buy cigarettes.

Break is also used as a word in place of Decipher - like a code.

A common American way to use break, broken and broke is to signify - An appliance or product that is spoilt/ malfunctioning.
I cannot watch the race, my TV is broken. We cannot go for a drive, my car is broken.

Note: If the car was working and we left for a drive and the car stopped on the way, it would have broken DOWN.

To break water: is the rupturing of the sac before a baby is born.

Also To be crushed, emotionally or physically: I'm completely broken.

A break can also be an interval - either in a movie or a show or an act.

Give me a break is an informal phrase with 2 meanings. To reduce or stop the pressure on me. Come on, I've been working for 14 hours straight. Give me a break.
Or to show complete disbelief: Adding boric powder in your oil changed your car for the better? Come on, give me a break.

In certain games with an initial formation, like carrom and billiards - the first strike is called a break. Note: Boric powder does make carrom better for sure.

To break wind:
Is to fart. You know - a gaseous release, a smelly prrrrrr from your bum hole.

There are many many more meanings to this lovely word. But it's dinner time, I have to go. Cheers.

Not for humankind in general, but could be very hazardous for persons nearby. Do NOT light a naked flame in the vicinity; these gases are often highly flammable.

Pardon my ignorance, but should this not be "I hate people who brake suddenly"? I'd have thought "that" is used only to refer to things and animals.
