I prefer the Shawarma's at Savoury, havent tried Kabab Magic, where abouts is this?

Also here's a tip at Savoury you can ask for the "Shahan Shawarma" its the meat+salad filling without the kaboose(bread) :D

You will get it in Kerala Mess, Kairali, in the road adjacent to the Airtel/ ICICI Lombard building(just after Shama Transport, Citibank ATM and Petrol pump) in Madiwala.

We used to frequent the place for Kerala breakfast, lunch and porotta/ beef in the evening. The prices have gone up highly after the renovation.

I have visited the Kabab Magic in Koramangala and Jayanagar. The food and variety is good.

In Koramangala, you need to cross the junction after Raheja Residency and go straight when you are coming from BDA complex. You will find Kabab Magic on the left side.

In Jayanagar, from BTM side cross Banarghetta flyover and take the left after Roti Mandir. Its on the left side.

Kabab Magic's shawarma makes me sick. Their grape juice is amazing, though.

They do not make proper Shawarmas. It is just an imitation as most available. They even make it with roomali rotis!
Grape juice??? I just had a jug of it sitting in front of the computer now!!! :p

Kairali - behind Christ College. By far the best Kairali that I have been too.

You're going to get hit one of these days.

Like I said the Shawarma's at Savoury (Mosque road) are close to authentic because 40-50% of their clientèle comprises of Middle Eastern/Arabic/Iranian people.

Dont know about the other outlets (BEL Road, CMH Road) and if they do the "Shahan" Shawarma that I mentioned earlier.

Maybe I dont like the original Arabian Shawarma. In Empire they didnt make it with roomali roti. I actually love rolls with roomali Rotis and not even the Paranthas that are used in some places (Kaati Zone).

which is the best place in bangalore for lamb shawarma (gyro)?

All this talk of shawarma, and now i'm hungry! :D

Maybe all of us shwarma lovers should have a shwarma meet at the Savoury on Mosque road?lol:

@Andro : Try Savoury, Mosque road :p

@Nikhil, the shawarma bread is called Kaboose !

If you like Roomali then Kabab Corner Chicken katti rolls are amazzzzzzzzzzzing but too expensive :-/

Just thought I'd remind everyone here: Subway rules! :D

"Little Home" in Koramangala (Close to Wipro and Raheja Residency).
Similar to Kairali 'coz I see the old chef who worked in Kairali in this
place!!!

Shawarma lovers: Anybody remembers the first Shawarma joint in Bangalore? In my view it was a small Arabian joint on Church street next to Wipro MG road office. This was some 6 years ago I think!

You still get the imitation Shawarma at Kabab Magic on Sarjapur road.
